Hey guys!

I've had 1 successful harvest in coco so far. A bit in bloom I received my first nutrients.
GreenleafNutrients CalMag+ and their Aficionado.

I usually take ½tsp Aficionado and dissolve it in 0.5L and use as concetrate which i add in water, like 1/10 in 2L bottles for handwatering. But I always seem to mess it up, always get burns or spots on leaves. Even though I think I use very little.

Same procedure for calmag+ but alot less. ¼-⅛tsp maybe.

So now im aiming for GH FloraBloom+Micro or just Flora Nova throughout the grow. Is it a good idea?

Last mistake was adding aficionado to a already hot soil, ended up pretty much killing all leaves of my Blue Dream. :(

Perhaps I can get it right with just aficionado+calmag but right now im clueless.. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What works in coco for you guys?
No need to flame eacother about whats better, im just curious what works for YOU.

I know I suck at this, no need to point that out. :P

Okay first off - what is the TDS of the water you are using before nutes are added? Next, is this medium reused from a prior grow? If so how was it flushed after the last grow? Do you have an EC/TDS/PPM meter?

Not reused, clean coco.

I do not have TDS meter, yet. I actually ordered one the other day.

We use dH(deutscher härte) here to measure hard/soft water. My water is about 3—5 ºdH which can be compared to rainwater which is 1—2,5 ºdH and cellar/well water is about 15-30 ºdH. I'll know for sure with a tds meter when it arrives.

I use only GH MaxiBloom throughout the grow and I never have a discolored leaf. 7 grams in tap water for mature plants and that's all you need. GH FloraNova is excellent as well but more expensive than MB.

Thanks! Do you not add any calmag at all in coco? How much do you start at in veg?

Ugh, im mourning my Blue Dream. She looks like a 70's groomed poodle, poor thing. But damn does she smell good.

Ok so heres my shopping cart,
Canna Coco AB
Canna PK
PlantMagic MagneCal.

Good base or should I go even simpler till I get a good hang of it?

Ok guys I went with the Canna Coco AB+PK and MagneCal. Theyre getting first feed tonight, how small should i start ⅓ or ¼ of reccomended dosage?

I just did some research on my tap water.

Calcium 35mg/l
Magnesium 2mg/l
Phosphor 0.01mg/l
Iron <0.02mg/l

Will i need to add calmag?
