i, on the other hand, do not have magic water. i have even tried assorted spell, chants, rain dances, and other holy-molies to no avail.

i guess the realtor was right-

i've never tried rooting like this. my wife takes her house plants and does it this way all the time. i am quit surprised in the out come of this. so i take it is i luck bastard. LOL

well i cracked open the rockwool cube and i have roots. day 10 2day.i will be poping them girls in soil in a week. now the clones i cut and put in just a plain glass of has not rooted yet. so when i showed the pic the day after cutting and said they had roots already, I WAS WRONG. NOTHING YET. its just strans of the stem i see. so i do not have magic water. LOL i cut theis clones extra big this time to see how they turn out. so far so good. now well see if they take.

too bad....time to cancel all those travelers you had coming to visit your "magic healing waters", huh?

glad your RW babitos are working out though. i just lost 2 of 6 because i had the deathbed-flu for 3 days and they were neglected...moment of silence.

thanks, yeah im better for now. it seems like ive been sick more this winter than i have in years combined. i was so ill i actually forgot i had several ounces hanging to dry, good thing they didnt over-dry!

willwe have goood roots started. the ones in the glass did not take, ohwilllife goes on. i did 4 i cloning compound and 2 rooted. nothing on the other 2, so i just recut it at a 45 dergee angle again and recloned it. i have done this be4 and some will root and some won't. just thought i would share half ofthe sucsess, hopfully the other 2 will root.

I am a first time grower and I have put my cuttings in a small cup with plain tap water. My cuttings were showing roots in about 10-14 days. It take a little longer for the clones to root but I didn't have to buy anything except rooting gel.

i took a cutting of a stuck it right in the soil with out diping it,and so far so good.

years ago when i did it big, i was taking a batch of 50 cuttings and ended up with 51 somehowjoint. i took #51 and put her in a RW plug and just set him in my ebb n flow tray amongst the hydroton. no gel, powder, i didnt even do the clone-dance. the little resilient bitch rooted in about 3 weeks.

thats good to now. as the ones i put in a glass of water inthe window seal did not root. i was just messen around though.

ive heard of guys who do it that way, never worked for me. i even tried having them im water for a few days the doing it regular and it didnt speed up the process at all.

like i said before, i think those guys have magic water.

ha ha. ya i'll stick to my liquid, and powder technique works great for me. i just went to a friends and cloned 16 7 days ago and so far so good. 100%

Alright just checked out the thread ..... i like the glass water with clones but i think you can only leave them like that for so long then they will start going bad on you........ i do almost the same thing i cut my clones bottom or top of the plant ........... after i cut from mother i put them into a glass of ph water ......... one by one .......trim all the lower leaves off the clones ...... use a razor blade and scrap the side of the stem at the very bottom.......then use the razor blade to cut up the middle from the bottom.........then i dip it in my powder or gell..... i use those sponge clone pacman things any hydro shop......open up my sponge and place my clone in......... i then have a DIY DWC i use as a cloner with a dome..... i take off my cover to my dwc that already is up and running with bubbles and ph water...... i put my sponges on top of the water like lilly pads so they just float try not to let the leaves sit in the water.....leave them like that for a hour or so....... then i take all my floating sponges out of the water put the lid back on the dwc ...... put my sponges in there little holes in the lid........ spray the inside of the dome and then place the dome over the DWC....... check on the dome not the clones if the dome has moisture or humidity on it then your good if not take off your dome spray it again and put it back over the clones.....should take no longer then 10 days and roots like no other .... not trying to jack the thread but just saw the floating clones in water and had to check out the thread...........keep up the growing everyone

your not jacking nothing bro. share you experences thats what were here for. as for my clones in the glass of water, FAILURE LOL
