Its a great concept. No matter how "secret" you try to keep it however someone will snitch just to be a bitch and then the fun is ruined.

it could be done in a medical state
as long as everyone attending had their med card there isnt a thing the cops could do.
i am pretty sure "oregon free green" just had a meeting where weed was judged and noone got busted.
so to just dismiss it based on it being illegal isnt really fair. i have a state med recommendation and although the feds could bust me i dont concider what i do as illegal. nor do i think they would waste time busting people with med cards

You forget that there is nothing stopping the feds from coming in and snatching each and every one of you guys and the vendors that attend. At that point it is no longer for tobacco use.

First of all Nevada used to be a felony for any amount of pot. Has that changed?

The only way you can do something like this is if it's kept small and very much on the down low, and preferrably NOT in Nevada. If you try to do anything that gains national interest like comparable to high times cannabis cup then the feds will be on your ass in a heartbeat and no state laws or medical cards will be able to save you. Once busted on the federal level you aren't even allowed to inform your jury that you are a medical marijuana patient or legal with the state, you'll be treated like joe crack dealer.

Even if you do nothing that can get you busted at the "event" feds will start looking for any way to bring you down and make an example out of you. State med cards would be about as useful as a get out of jail free card from a monopoly game.

I don't think you have a good grasp on the reality of just how illegal pot is on a federal level and just how bad they like to burn folks who get in the public eye even if it's on a complete bullshit charge like what they did to Tommy Chong just busting him for selling bongs.
