My DWC CFL Grow

Looking forward to the pics, I have some ideas for lighting strategies that will really make a difference in your plants growth too.

Here are some new pics(all taken at the same time) As you can see through out the pics my tie down changes as I seek to improve my method. I'm trying to get it as horizontal as I can to spread the light to all the nodes. Here you go;

I have also managed to get my pH down. Didn't know I had to use as much of that stuff to get it to drop.

enjoy

so at first i didnt realize you were growing hydro. i read where you said you were using some aquarium water, and i have been considering trying using some of mine. but, i grow in soil. does anyone else do this? the only thing i am skeptical about is the fact that it isnt easily measurable, as far as fertilizer in the water. anyway, good luck with your clone, man. :)

Well without a counter tie you better be making sure it doesn't uproot... If your wondering what I mean by counter tie then I'll tell ya :).. For a counter tie you want to tie right above the first node then to the side, as you tie it to the side make sure the stem is vertical till first node.. If its not uprooting or damaging anything you should be ok, its just best to run a counter tie just to be on the safe side.. Plus it helps get the plant 100% horizontal without uprooting :)

Edit: Had this picture from my grow
As you see the 2 strings to the left that are side by side thats where my counter tie is. Then the top is tied and its 100% horizontal

I have been thinking about doing away with this idea. Like you said there is no sure way of knowing how much nutrients the plant is really getting. My guess would be not enough which is better then too much but with out knowing for sure it's a small gamble.

Thank you for the tip. I don't think Ill need it. I slowly lowered the plant over a couple days as to not hurt the stem or roots.

Things are going good. This thing is taking off like crazy. I did some more LST today;

I wish I knew how much time is left. I would say a week or two. I'm still not 100% sure how to tell when is the best time. As far as the bottle goes it co2. sugar and yeast
