I can run my IP address through a third party proxy and a router using the following program:
http://hotspotshield.com/

You can all think and do whatever you please, but wireless networks aren't as secure as my hardline, and they're not near as secure as everyone seems to believe.

LMAO I burnt my grow cus of ISP concerns and I have a dynamic IP roflmao... but then learnt just how much trouble it is for the fuzz et al to get an address and to be perfectly honest they have bigger priorities than to chase up someone growing a bit of percy.. can well understand the paranoia... mine was far too many plants and the fear of crown court and the effect it would have on my wife.

good advice about using 3rd party proxies but to be honest your more likely to get busted by telling someone about your grow who you shouldn't have... no carbon filter if one is needed ( I dont I live rural) most busts happen either due to nasty vindictive snakes or careless growing practices.. overcoming paranoia is one of the 1st and hardest things we encountered when we started growing... mrs would freak out when a helicopter flew overhead screaming at me to trun me 400w hid off LMAO...

he can't do anything. There are no exploits out for any windows right now. Only thing they could do is use a trojan which you would have to run or be exploited by, but I haven't heard of any exploits relating to IE outlook firefox or chrome lately. Nothing has happened at all. They can't do anything with your IP address. If you're concerned get a firewall on your computer, and use a router that can block PING (ICMP) attempts. You might have to go with an aftermarket firmware like tomato or dd-wrt, they are far superior than the official firmware anyway.

You can change your IP by calling your ISP and telling them you're receiving denial of service attacks from someone you met online.

This is a little bit of locking the door after the horse is out, but... use a third party, use differant Emails for bussiness, social, family, questionable bussiness ect. Don't just hand yourself to them, you have to make them work for it!!!
