My Female Plant Has Seeds Without The Help of Male Pollination

Hey all,

My female plants are starting to sprout seeds in a few areas. I have noticed this on a few plants. Specifically towards the bottom of the plant. There has been no male pollination. Is this a result of the plant trying to survive on its own there for reproducing on its own. I think I have read that somewhere. Also, are these seeds 100% female seeds or is there still a chance of growing males from these seeds.

The plants are very healthy with no problems.

It sounds like it's a hermi. Just keep an eye out for little bananas in between your buds. If you see them, pluck them out with a pair of tweezers and if you see any open ones spray the plant with a light mist of water when the lights are on to neutralize any pollen.

as long as its only just a few seeds i wouldn't worry about it
its quite normal for a plant to make a few seeds when they are fully mature
they may throw a few narnas that you can see, or just make a few seeds you find when you open some of the buds
the amount of seed produced should be very low, i would not call these hermi's

a hermi will make a huge amount of seeds and will show both male and female flowers pretty early on during growth

i have noticed myself lower popcorn shitty buds are more likely to throw a few seeds
i think this could be because these lower buds seem to mature too fast because they get less light, by the time you harvest
these lower buds can be over mature full of brown pistils and some seeds

this is how some seeds companies produce female seeds, by over maturing a plant until it produces pollen

i think many people do not grow enough plants or mature them long enough to notice that more often than not, a plant/strain will make a seed or two
this is normal

If there was pollen on someones hands from handling a bag they bought and they touched the plants that could also pollinate them

This is what I thought as well.

You are also implying that these seeds are female seeds?

Yeah, they will be S1 and should be quite similar to the mother they come from and are fine to grow pretty low risk of hemmy traits , but if those s1 plants make seeds themselves these seeds will be s2 generation , these are not good to grow and have a pretty high risk of being hemmies

Interesting. I'll make sure to keep this in mind. Thanks.
