my first attempt at outdoor cannabis

heloo everyone i am posting this to document my first experiance of growing cannabis. this year in febuary i began my outdoor grow. i knew that slugs wer gonna be such a pain i got a propogator and put 20 seedlings in it, they grew just under a foot so i stole one of those crapy plastic tomato grow tents but then some bastard stole or cut all my plants i found a new place in a much better location in april and put a transparent polothain tent that i constructed myself. i got 3 AMS seeds from the green house seed company and they grew extremely fast, in a month i had to make a new tent for them out of see through garbije bags and bamboo. they loved it even more. btw i was useing tomato nutes all the way through also perlite and some other gold chippings and a standard potting mix. a few weeks ago i got 2 new clones and 2 mothers of a friend. the clones wer a strain called lablonk not sure if thats the way you spell it, and the two mothers wer kiwi. i am not taking cuttings from the mothers just growing them into bushes for september. i also piced up a few swazi skunk only two survived but they are doing realy well. now i have 2 AMS plants one outside and one in the tent, the one in the tent is over my waste and im almoste 6 foot, it has been topped and for some reason has flowers already? also in the tent are the clones and mothers and swazis. in two months they should start to flower. any advise on anything would be realy great.xx

i will post pictures of the grow soonish, also if anyone has grown AMS befor can u give me some idea of bud structure, and is this a proper outdoor grow if its more of a greenhouse than an outdoor experiment?

thanks mate they are alot bigger now took those pictures about a month ago, the big booshy one is taller than me atm

think that they have started to go a bit pinky purple coz we had a dip in weather, but im not complainin, purple bud all round

these are my kiwi and lablonk, had a go at super croping, not to sure how efective it realy is

the AMS is now over 6 foot and everything else has atleast tripled in growth

if anyone wants to take a shot at letin me know what their thoughts are on what the bud may look like by harvest on the big plant it would be very helpfull and keeping in mind its in the uk is it a good idea to remove the plastic tents they are living in if the increas in size to much, lastly would these plants benifit specialised nutrients?

if you want them to stop vegetating, stop using vegetative nutrients...
When the flowering starts... you will see white little hairs... then you can start using flovering nutients...
When the about ~80% white hairs will become brown or orange, you can harvest your flowers

what would that work?, all im using is very basic tomato nutrient but i think it covers flowering and veg, i jus got offerd some nutes that a friend doesnt want anymore. i was gonna jus put a bin bag over them for a sertian time each day until i dont need to beacuase obviously the amount of day light would balence out as we get into winter. but i thought damn im not that enerjetic thats a 4 mile walk 2 times a day, so im jus gonna wait for the onaturel method and harvest end of september or october. still gonna use the flowering nutrients thanks for the advise

also these plants are all either double or trippled in size and the two clones i ahve are almost up to my waste and basicly the already have flowers but not realy easy to tell if they are just pre flower or just a fuck up on the climate i have to work with, theres been alot of diferent weather but mostly good quite a bit of rain, is this normal will the y die of? the plant is no where near ready yet so it shouldnt be doing it, its got a month to go and these plants usualy grow about 5 inches in or 3 days so as you can imagine they will be alot bigger by september so im jus kinda confused about the pistruls that are all over the main stem, could it be due to climate? the strain im refering to is kiwi and its a mother, the other plants its growing next two are cutings from the same sorce but they have pre flower tho all the top growth is lush and no flower exept for the bottom of the plant??? pleeeeease help

They will keep vegetating until the shortening length of day triggers flowering. The type of nutes you give them won´t affect that.
But once they do start flowering they will do better with nutes higher in P and K, specially formulated for flowering.

yeah man thats what i thougt, you ahve to triger pants with shortend daylight periods, what nutrients would you sujest for an outdoor grow and a plant that type and size?

thanks mate, its nice to hear of someone who is growing in the clasic christmas tree way, clones are good and everything and im growing some at the moment but you cant beet the finished look of masive top bud and loads of dense side colas
how could i not folow your grow its insane

do you recon i should loly pop the big plant? its gettin to late to do it sucsesfuly and a few people want cuttins from it, would it benafit the harvest, some of the plant is just not gettin day light because of its location, its clearly not an isue for it but i was gonna loly pop it anyway to see how good it is for next year

ok question, on the big bushy plant there is some yelowing hapening on the big fan leaves, not the outer ones but the ones that are positioned directly below the shoots that come of the main stem, the plant itself isnt looking as green but its not a bad unhealthy look just thinking maybeh its time to give it either more water, or give it better nutrients as all it gets at the moment is tomato nutes, however its only got august to go and thats a month exactly, would the plant apreciate richer nutrients only for a month and would it shock the plant if i changed nutes vegeing nutes for a month then changed to flowering nutes? and could i do anything to ajust the nutrients i am useing at the moment? the big plant curently takes 1 liter of water every 2 days is this enough or posibly to much? any advise would be good
