This is my baby right here. I grew it from bagseed that I've had lying around in a drawer for about 5 years. Just recently got back into smoking as alcohol was taking over my life, and these beautiful plants are medicating me right through this hard time.
I germed 3 seeds but only one sprouted, and surprisingly at that, I used the paper towel method. It had been such a long time since I had read anything about this process that when once it sprouted it shot up about 3.5 inches stretching for the light from the windowsill. I then rushed here and read a sticky about re planting it up to the leaves and getting a light an inch away and this is what I have now, no more stretching and bigger leaves at about a week and a half.
I have been researching some and would like to ask some questions. I'm thinking about trying to germinating the rest of the seeds I have as this could turn out to be a male. After that I was either going to build a rubbermaid growbox, or use the attic of my apartment, preferably the attic. Is this going to be too hot, or will a fan be sufficient in cooling the plants down? If I am able to use the attic, will I need to build a grow space, or will just leaving them there with the lights be enough? I've read this like using mylar to reflect light, but is it really needed? Lastly, if the attic is usable, will I have to do any thing about the odor in my living space, or since it's in the attic with the not travel through the ceilings? Thanks.
