ok i havent added any nutes the ph is pretty damm close to seven. i have the el cheapo ph meter that is just a needle with numbers behind it and the ph is right below where the perfect mark is located at seven. the plants are just not seeming to grow. im not sure but what i think is happening is even though the temp gauge is on top of an empty pot at plant level and is at 77/78 degrees and rh is 45/50 the intake fans are blowing right on my pots could this be causing my soil to be too cold to promote root growth? i am thinking it is so i moved all of the pots to the opposite end of the box away from the intake fans and hopefully this will help solve my problem no need to add pics today as they havent done anything amazing i have had 18 of the beans pop open and i have put them just under the soil in some red cups on the porch whenever they pop there heads up above the dirt they will be getting thrown in the chamber and the lights will go 12/12

why dont you just veg them for 2 or 3 weeks. You would get a lot of nice veg time in there. check out raiderman's journal. veg for a few weeks and finish perfect size for being jammed in there

I was thinkin more like 6" even, n take off the bottom branches to make sure they throw a lot of upward growth during that switch over. might be strain dependant though, I know super silver haze gets too tall everytime

Indicas dont get as tall as sativas,So it depends on the strain too,i would deffinitely start 12/12 on sativas at 6".

Ive seen some ridiculous things in little cups and containers, uncle ben is big on how root bound is a state of mind. seen a few girls in cups that yielded like a zip. they will get huge in them. the plants dont have the hormones to flower anyways, why make their days shorter? they will prolly stretch less and be tighter with veg time

i see what your sayin dank its gonna take the seedlings at least two weeks to be mature enough to flower anyway so might as well veg them and keep them tight and compact being as how they will stretch more if given more dark time. so my next question is this should i go 24/0 or 18/6 with the veg? also when i get ready to flower should i give them 36 hours of darkness to help induce flowering or just go straight up 12/12 all at once?

i like to just do 12 n 12, during there transition they stretch n grow a lot. are they feminized? if not plan on bigger containers for the ladies to fill in space the males leave.
