Whats up?you know aroud here i could get a prepaid Amazon ccard from any grocery store,drugstore,HEB,KROGER,ALBERTSON'S,walmart,cvs,walgreens,Piggly Wiggly
.....maybe you could too?Don't know how different it is in Canada.....any way you could get any color temp bulb you want,which is important and they have other 420 friendly items too
.I have used 23w 5000k or 6500k for veg and 3000k or 2700k for flower....fyi.GL.peace

i was just going to pick up some 6500k next time i can get to the nearest Wal-Mart, but if that doesnt work out, my next step is amazon canada lol@Khemical7,

Okay, need some tips on lowering temps without adding too much more ventilation. Had to move tent last night due to unforseen circumstance. It's hitting 110°F now. I don't think it can stay like that for long.. Lights off right now, won't be able to actually do anything until around 7 tonight

I'm running 6x23W cfl bulbs, have a fan blowing across them, and I killed 2 lights last night to try to reduce heat, so when they come on tonight, only 4 will be going
The tent was in a room averaging approx. 65°F now its in a room that averages 80-90°F (will confirm ambient temp after work)

please let me know canopy temp, cause im at 90f and idk if switching to cfls would change i think. im in a small closet with fan pointed at the light and ballast to push heat away but it stays 90. room temp outside of closet is like 75, but when the things on its almost like a suanu i cant wait to shut it down lol
do i attempt 150 watts of cfls, or will it still be 90f?

My guess is it would be between 80-90°F as that's where I had it staying before. I have really crappy ventilation at this point and have moved my tent into a closet so I need to come up with some way to lower temps now.. Mine was hitting 110°F last night with only 4 bulbs going..
If you have good ventilation you should be fine. Before moving the tent to such a confined space, my problem was low temps until i closed some vents lol.. I just need more ventilation now that its confined..
I'm going to be trying a few things tonight, including a new fan, and maybe putting a frozen water bottle in front of the fan.
Hope all that makes sense.. Just smoked some real nice bud lol

nono tent her, sliding closet and i keep the doors proped when light is on. what do you think my temps would be with a hanging 125 watt cfl and then 4 20 watt side cfls? think itll still be hot in there?
i also have an air purifer in there but it doesnt help fully. i think you should get an exhaust fan and put it in the hole in your tent, at the top.

I have no experience with the 125W cfl bulbs, highest ratings I get are 23W, they can actually get warm enough that I can't hold them for long, but with a fan blowing across all of them, they are warm, but not hot. So my best guess would be if you have a fan blowing across the bulbs, and a way to remove that heat from the area (such as your open door) when the lights are on, you should be fine.
Once my lights come on and I get the get the tent's ambient temp down I can get you an accurate canopy temp. It turns on in about 3 hours, so I should have a temp for you soon after that

All I have at the moment is a small household fan. I had another one that was venting out hot air, but it died on me, looking into getting a duct fan tonight for the top of the tent.
And there's a cat that would eat my plants if I left the tent open lol
Looking at that pic, you should be able to get 75-80°F with that door open and the fan blowing the heat off the bulbs and straight out the door

Yeah I think they've mainly been hungry this whole grow, you could up concentration or feed twice as often depending on how well draining Pro-mix is.
Either way, subbed to see how it goes!

yea, I've been slowly (probably too slowly) raising the dose, just being extra careful as Im working with cheap nutes (plant-prod) because I'm in a small town now, so I didn't have easy access to a high times store or other hydro stores. I was able to score a bottle of Biobizz bloom, but I'm not so sure about mixing it with the plant-prod.
The plant-prod I have is 25-10-10 they have a flowering plant fert also, probably going to buy some this week
Also: the pro-mix I have really sucks lol I had to add soooo much perlite...
Luckily the root mass is getting pretty dense so it's sucking up lots of water pretty quickly now
