My first cfl will these lights work good?

So this is my wife's little dresser while she was at work I tore it apart without asking and now she's bitchin but oh we'll

These are the measurements*
25 1/2 " wide
33 1/2" tall*
15" deep*

I will be putting a ply wood front door on it and painting the whole thing. then putting the drawer handles back on to make it look like a normal dresser. I'm also going to paint the inside flat white of course.*


The first few strains I'm going to do once it's finished are

Purple kush
Purple kush x ak 47
chocolate ses*

And these are the lights I went and picked up today *please let me know if they will work good for veg and flowering!!

Now just figuring out how I'm going to place my lights if I'm going to go scrog or not. *This is my first stealth grow and my first indoor grow so I'm up for lots of suggestions.*

Going to smoke start watchin prison break and go to bed will update on progress tomorrow.

I can already tell you, you'll have no luck with that bulb. You need 6500K for vegetative growth and 2700K for flowering. In the 3500-5500K spectrum there isn't really any usable wavelengths for the plant -- your lights say 4100K. I'd advise getting yourself some 6500K bulbs to start with and 2700K when you decide to flower.

Ok I'll return them tomorrow... Where could I pick up the 6500k and the 2700k there are no hydro stores in town and the closest one is not accessible to me as its a hours drive each way. Would Walmart Carry the correct lights or home hardwear or something?

i bought three 100 watt cfl lights in a package at walmart that are 6500k for 11 bucks...they have three 100 watt 2700k for 9 bucks...good luck with your grow..

Awesome thanks bro really appreaciate it.

Probably a bit too late now but instead of destroying then re building your wifes dresser how about spending $100 or so on a cheap mail order growing tent? Will save you a lot of work and they are easy to use. Perhaps you can even use the dresser for vegging then the tent for flowering. It is very useful to have 2 separate areas.

ps - Walmart is your friend.

just adding to this... your spectrum is off. it will do nothing. 5000k-6500k is best for vegging. 2700k for flower only

So all I could find in the 5000k-6500k was the little 60 watt ones so I got 7 to tide me over untill I can get to Canadian tire to return the no good ones and go to wal Mart and get some of the 150 and 200 watt ones

Oh on another note 4 seeds popped and were ready for soil so I put them in some starting pots will post pictures tomorrow
