God Dam - it seems like a pretty good setup!! I would definitely get the spare bulb - get the agro one with a little bit of blue spectrum. I used that for the Master Kush's whole life. Also - the ballast and hood get pretty hot.. I wouldn't use it somewhere tight with no ventilation. The first day I put it in my closet it got up to about 90 degrees before I cut a 4" hole in the ceiling. Now temps stay at 70-75. Good luck!

Thanks for checking in.. The Master Kush is from Nirvana. 7/9 have been fems so far
The Frisian dew was harvested. She was beautiful. It's some of the tastiest and stinkiest smoke I've ever had, and does me in real good

- 26g's dried and currently curing in jar and getting better by the day!
The MK and the NBB are still alive and kicking. I have taken a cola of the NBB as a tester and it's wonderful. The plant still has another week or so I'm guessing.. These pics are between 2-7 days old..

And here's the nug I pulled about two weeks ago to sample. It's very very nice
And here's the Master Kush which is the biggest and baddest! Sticky as shit, smells like a dirty dirty whore.. Love her. Entire plant is now 20" from the soil surface to the tip of the tallest bud.. That tallest bud is 10" tall itself!!! And almost all the hairs are white - she's still growing, thinking another two weeks on her.. Hoping for a big # from her.
And here is my closet garden.. I adopted a KC35 x Kush plant that outgrew a buddy's growspace. That one's looking promising.

Hey Potberto, what soil and nutrients did you use on the MK? I'm doing the same thing with a 400W HPS in Fox Farm soil with Fox Farm Nutrients and I'm not getting even close to the yield that you are.

I actually used Miracle grow Organic on the MK right there.. For nutes I used the GH Flora series (micro, grow, bloom). Also towards the end used Molasses on every other water. I wish I vegged the MK longer but I saw preflowers and got excited..
The good news is I gave a buddy of mine a clipping a while back, he turned that into a Christmas tree, and in return gave me back another clipping off that.. So I have the same MK now and this one is in veg and double the size of the original when I put it into flower..
I've found it's a pretty damn hardy strain. Do you have the Nirvana MK?
I just smoked some for the first time in like 3 weeks.. It's been curing almost two months and it's some of the sweetest cheebah to ever hit my lips

Both butterscotches were from seeds and both were male unfortunately. I grew one out and collected his sperm though and made about 5-10 beans on each of these plants so I should be good to go for next season. Right now I just have another Master Kush, Frisian Dew, and I planted a fem seed of Burmese Kush from TH Seeds that is about 3wks old now. In about another three weeks they will all go into flower. My clone actually came from a Cali grower so I'm not sure if it's Nirvana or what but it's high grade. I'm just not getting that size you have and I'm wondering if it's genetic or am I not doing something. I don't use molasses. I think it might be time to start.
Don't lose that beauty! Keep clonin' brotha'. MK are supposed to be popcorn buds the size of golf balls at the most from what I hear. You have an alien growing in your closet. I'm jealous.

I gotcha.. Not sure, probably just a bit different genetics. End product should be similar
And if you think that one is nice, look at my new grow thread with a clipping off that plant. It's a bush and hasn't started flowering yet.
And a buddy of mine created a REAL monster with a clipping. Last I saw it was about 6' tall, 4' wide, and filled covered in buds the size of one liter soda bottles.
