Hi guys I am new to this forum as well as growing cannabis. I have grown a few cannabis plants before but all pretty much bag seed forever ago. I got 4 cuts from a buddy last Saturday 2 Strawberry Kush, 1 Crunchberry and 1 Juicy Fruit. I decided to grow in coco and I currently have all four in 1 gal nursery pots in the Royal Gold Tupar coco/perlite mix (I think its 60/40). here is what the bag says..
Tupur
Royal Gold Tupur was developed with one idea in mind-Feeding the plant as much and as often as possible! This high porosity mix allows the gardener to feed often, supplying all major NPK with any nutrient system ( Cutting Edge Solutions, Botanicare, House and Garden, Advanced Nutrients, BioBizz, etc). Although it was created for “slow drip” drain to waste systems, gardeners have enjoyed success in conventional and hydroponic style gardens and in containers of all sizes. Feed 1 to 6 times a day depending on the size of your container. To decrease the feeding schedule, use a drain dish to catch run off. Decrease the fertilizer rate by 1/3 to 1/2 if there is no run off. It is also recommended that you water (pH Balanced) every third feeding. Be sure to supplement Calcium and Magnesium as coco soils use this at a higher rate. Also, adding bloom enhancers greatly increase your yield.
According to this I should be feeding 1 to six times a day? I am using Advanced Nutrients sensi grow A+B and I made my first hand feed of 1/4 strength the day I transplanted them 10/10 I feed till waste. Then a few days later on Wed. same solution. both feeds have gone in at 5.9 ph and the runoff came out a solid 6 on all plants. I plan on feeding again tomorrow at same strengths. Should I follow what the bag says and feed 1 to six times a day? I am in fear of overwatering them because it seems to me that they are pretty wet still the next day after a watering. I currently am growing under some walmart duel bulb t-5 lights running 18/6. I have a 4x4x7 tent coming next week, as well as a 600w HID. I am thinking of vegging with just the T-5s I currently have two duel bulbs and am planning on adding 1 maybe 2 more. (would love some feed back on that Idea please.) I inoculated upon transplant with extreme garden Mykos. I am planning on running molasses with every no feed watering, and flushing every two weeks with ph'd h2o. As far as any extras with feeding I think I am going to add B-52, and this beneficial called recharge. is silicone worth it? if so any recommendations on a few would be much appreciated. if there is something else any of you feel I should use I would appreciate the input. as far as cal/mag I use my tap water and gas off chlorine. I should have a tds meter in a couple days so I can start tracking that. that's all I can think of for now I think they are looking pretty good but feel like the need more nutrition. I will post pics of them from the day I transplanted them a week ago and then again tomorrow 1 week in.
Thanks ahead of time for any help and patience!
