Thank you @Humble grower for the well wishes.Looking good bro sorry to hear about the 2 that hermed on ya hopefully the rest stay on track
I hear you. I live in a very hard water area with tap water reading 2+ EC regularly. I have to buy RO water in 5 gallon bottles and it is a major pita. I was toying with the idea of buying my own RO system... I did not realise calcium carbonate killed them!! That is kinda ironic since that is the whole point of having them lol.I'm thinking that the combination of some nute issues with those two and the switching from 12/12 to 13.5/10.5 using the far reds stressed them a bit ant they popped balls. This time of year all the wells are being pumped hard for water, the calcium carbonate in the water destroys RO systems. I have had a hard time finding good RO water before and have just now found a better source. I don't have room for my own at the moment but would love not to heft water...One of the joys of a desert grower...

Well any concentrated salt is rough on RO membranes. Here the "RO" can be as high as .9 EC even with periodic servicing. Cloramine dose a number as well so if you don't run a pre filter and de-ionizer it tears a membrane up also. I love lugging 5-6 5 gallon jugs every couple days...I hear you. Thank you for stopping in @dro-man80 !Looking good brother...Glad the rest are girls...Damn Trannys always tryna act like girls lol...
(no offense to Transgenders)
I didn't do the 13.5 lights on schedule like u did this run,but i will next run...so i can compare..And i just ordered another load from Jerry..Gonna put 3000k on the 3500k bars and use the 3500k for veg...but i should have my order from Steves Led so I will have that added to the 3500k side to see what it does even tho it will be halfway thru flower..o well..I will def keep u up to date with how it goes...One thing I love about these forums and all is if it is utilized for its intended purpose, there is so much positive and beneficial gains sharing knowledge and results from real life experimenting...Always funny when i see ur pics, cuz ur girls always look identical to mines...lol..happy growing, and peace an love bro![]()
As the use of cloramine spreads more and organic gardeners are turning to multiple filters and RO to be able to not kill off the benies...been running r/o for 20 years in hard cali water , just flush the membrane regularly & they should last for a few years
mine are at least 3 years old & still show a low ppm , as meter don't go that low , but place same meter in my tap it's 450ppm
i use all 1/4 pipe fitting & build my own the casing are cheap a great membrane about $50
I use 1 sedimite & 2 carbon block filters
you can gang them , daisy chain style to save waste water
i was just out there fucking with mine , pumped a bunch of waste water on the maple trees
The hard water here can be as high as 1.8 EC mostly calcium carbonate which can lock out a grow big time.... if I get the space set up I will have a nice RO system and a couple 50 gallon barrels with shutoff floats...I do know in the L A basin they have to use pressure pumps on their r/o systems to limit the waste water
the idea to force more h20 thru the membrane & have it self flush itself with high velocity flow across the membrane
this saves the waste as it's recycled back thru a loop system
those are not cheap but actually it's only a $100 pump & know how to pipe it
I use my waste in my garden
Damn my man tht sucks brother...I have never seen tht type of bud growth as of yet specifically..I think i would of did the same thing...so ur just gonna finish out the other few girl right?Well this has not been the stellar show case run, not in the least. I cut down five of the #2 pheno tonight do to some shit bud formation and very little tric coverage. The buds were almost all brands and leaf with little to no colax. It's just a pheno thing....

The WBK was a small run of seeds by a private breeder from a few years back. I have more seeds to go through but like you said there are so many options in the market now.Great reply brother lol..had me laughing and nodding my head like ,"yes aint tht the truth" all in the same breath haha..
I guess once u become pretty cool with someone on the forums u actually treat them like homies lol,so i felt extra bad and even got a lil upset about the deformed girl lol, like its my damn grow haha..
ya one of my favorite phenos in my grow threw some nanners and its a keeper from what im seing so i cloned her and hopefully the clones dont nanner but "optic foliar" sells a product called switch for hermies tht a few of my buddies swear by if u wanna keep ya hermed girls...im going to pick up a bottle just in case she goes a lil crazy again...
is there any seed company u know of tht sells the WhiteBerrykush?? I would love to give her a run one day,but no biggie if its not available anymore..more then enough killer gentics in the arsenal lol..have a blessed day my friend..peace an love![]()
