I'm watching with admiration, very nice looking.
Wow, thanks! That means a lot.We should have a yearly award for best or most innovative DIY COB light - from the looks of it so far this build would be in the running. JavaCo's robot light, Growmaus Spyder light and the Spacebins that look like alien spacecraft come to mind too.
It's funny you say that cause I'm going to put a little blue tooth speaker in there so I can play music for my girls. I'm going to make a little shelf for in and mount it on the back wall in the middle.Ha, when I saw the pic of the ventilation fans i thought they were speakers. You'd have built the first grow cabinet that I've seen with a built-in home audio system, lol. Your plants could groove to some Marley all day, and you'd probably have the fattest buds ever grown lol.
The COBs will be a nice upgrade from CFLs - looking forward to seeing some plants under the new lights.
Thanks!hard to beat laser cut, this is fantastic.

I'm just hoping it performs as good as it looks. I should probably merge my other thread with this one. This new light will be going in this cab;

I had made a DIY cfl fixture to do a test grow in the cab while I designed and built the LED light. It worked better than I thought.

Amazing CAD skills man, did you just give the cad file to the guy at work with the 3d metal router?I was thinking on how I want to hang this light. I came up with this. Using steel cable with a custom made piece where they attach.

Thanks, but I'm not using CAD to make my 3d models. It's a program called 3DS Max. All I gave the guy at work was a drawing on a piece of paper with some dimensions. He did the rest by making it into a cad file then loading it into the machine.Amazing CAD skills man, did you just give the cad file to the guy at work with the 3d metal router?
This light is calculated at 139W. My cfl light is 312WGreat job man
How many watts is this rig going to run? And how many watts were all those cfls? Im sure the difference in efficiency is night and day.
Keep up the good work while making everyone want one.
