IMO they do really good if they are enclosed in a controlled environment such as the OP is going to provide them with.. 
I have the cheap $ tree windshield visors as my reflective material.. Works just as good as panda or say mylar. and a hell of allot cheaper. haha

This is what my whole setup looks like and it works well for me, the other plant on the right is a biodiesel critical mass auto thats a buddy of mines, it wasnt getting the light it needed being it was planted early and too cold to keep outside so i threw her in my tent, shes stunted but hopefully shell produce some nice potent nugs.
