white widow seeds from nirvana
Ok well i soaked about 8 white widow and 4 ghetto seeds in a moist paper towel for a few days (one had a root sprout almost half an inch in just 2 days) and then planted all of the ones that sprouted in a jiffy soil pellet and put it in the black container u see in the right of the picture. i put water in it until the jiffy pellets were as fat as they could get engorged with the water and then i added a little more for the humidity. Now 2 weeks later and none of them have sprouted. I just transplanted them from the jiffy pellets into soil in styrofoam cups but while digging the seeds out of the jiffy pellets i noticed NONE had even begun to sprout and i had to toss 3 seeds cus they were really squishy and fell apart when i handled them (very gently). and even the one seed that had a half inch root somehow lost it or something cus none of the seeds i planted had anything like that. They all looked the same or smaller/deader as when i first put them in the jiffy pellet.
My gut is telling me i overwatered and caused the seed seeds to fall apart and explode because a white widow seed i planted directly in soil once sprouted in 2 days (before being eaten by some very fat and hungry bug).
So did i overwater? what happened? 2 weeks and not even a hint of sprouting? i started with 12 figuring that some would die and others would be male and i could have 2 i could work with but now i have 9 left and still hoping 1 will sprout. (I know i can only grow 2-3 with a 150watt hps). Will the move to soil with some very slight nutes and less water help? This is still my first grow from my first batch of 10 ww seeds i got from nirvana and a few ghetto seeds. I have all the technical knowledge but no practical experience.
How much longer do i have to wait until giving up on them? And if they are dead should i try skunk #1(feminized) or hindu kush from sensi seeds for my next grow, i hear they are good for beginners.
Someone help pls
