yes you did flower too late. and i think switching time like that is not too good but i am not sure. i think it stuns it and slows growth.

Ok so now my plants are really startin to stank does anyone know how to limit the smell?

u need an activated carbon filtration system.
do some searching on this site, there is a DIY CARBON FILTER setup that someone posted. all materials from walmart i think

I just wanted to say good job with the growing YoungHova and Massbaster...you guys have green thumbs already for first time growers. Hova..let us get a peak of those colas..see if the size matches your description of their dankness.

I wouldn't worry too much if you haven't seen sprouts within 3 days than something may be wrong. My updates from day one are on this thread which explains how the plants are growing. Good luck

i already switched mine last saturday. i got 10 days and i think they are just starting to show flowers.

i think they are slow due to the fact that 6 are growing right now. hope they show signs of male female soon so i can reduce the strain on the res.

your plants are gonna grow 2-3 times more when you switch to 12/12. keep that in mind.

if your at 5-7 nodes, flower.

i got pics coming. also i think there is a procedure on switching nutes as far as flushing the veg nutes and starting the bloom nutes.

i think you may have slow flowering too with the size and number of plants u have. they look good but they must be straining you res.

my 6 drink enuf water to lower the level from the upper most edge, to below the "fill to here" mark by 1/4 of an inch within 24hours.

probably 300-400 ml if not more.

I have 4 plants in an aerogarden and they are drinking 60 oz of water a day .

After germinating in a water soaked paper towel put the seeds in th AG. CHECK them if you don't see green in a couple of days. Cut the foam pads in half before you insert the seeds. They will often grow in the wrong direction if the foam is not cut. No green you pull the pod and then open it and carefully straighten the root. get the seed head near the top of the pod. They will grow.

My question is how soon can you go to the flower (12/12) stage ? I'd like some other opinions on this. Is four sets of leaves and three weeks enough 18/6 time?

once you are ready you can go into the flowering stage. You just want to remember that your plant will most likely double in size when flowering so plan according to the amount of space you have.

under 12/12 lights your plant will only grow horizontally and vertically enough to bud and flower. I may be wrong.

that might be about right. i not measuring exactly and i just refill res from 2- 1 gallon pre mix that i make.

But, 60 oz is 1.7 liters i think, and i can say that i put at least a liter every 24hr.

i recently chopped a bunch of useless fan leaves again. also, switched res mix to a more bloom solution as prescribed by the General Hydroponics instructions.

i have about 39 inches of height. i have my hps mounted on back wall as high as i can get it. i lose 10 inches or so. i have had my plants in 12/12 for 12days and i am just starting to show male or female.

they did grow more out and up when i switched. my biggest was about 12-14 inches tall with 5-7 nodes. it is now, closer to 20+inches and almost touching my HPS light. i have the AG on top of a upside down bucket to help keep as close to lights as possible. right now my big one is about 3 inches away from my hps. i am just about ready to remove the bucket and lower the AG to allow for 3-4 more weeks of growth.

my little ones are stretching for light due to competition from others. need to chop my males soon and ease some stress on the rest of them.

unfortunately i think my big one is either Hermie or a flat out sausage.

oh well hope i can get more definitive proof of balls soon so i can get rid of.

things seem slow but now i have a more concentrated bloom mix running so hopefully that will help improve flower growth to determine sex.

i also think i have an issue with bagseed. gonna post a new thread and see what happens.

6-8 weeks of veg is when they start to show preflowers.

Are you saying I should stay at 16/8 cycle for 6-8 weeks?
