I'd stay away from Home store's. I use NOTHING but Fox Farm's Ocean. You may not even need to fert for 6-8 weeks, depending on your plants, size of containers, ECT. This is one item you should spend a lil $ on.... IMO only......

Milorganite is for lawns and shit. It's intended purpose is greening things up without inducing explosive growth. Think about the ideal lawn. I wouldn't recommend it during flowering. It's probably alright to use now if you want. It's awesome in landscapes.

ok so ill order online then cuz not even the nursery shops around my area sell that shit. I looked it up online and everything is reasonably priced -- i even looked up what it would cost for a HPS 1000 watt bulb. If i were to pick up one of those, replace the smaller light i have in there next to the larger bulb with the HPS, and then take the smaller lamp that i have, and mount it to the side of the wall so it hits the bottoms of my plants, do you think that would be enough lighting for flowering aswell?? -hope i didnt lose anyone with all that babble,lol

You can't put 1000 watts in there. You probably can't put more than maybe a couple hundred watts of HID lighting in there. They produce a LOT of heat. Also, you need a special ballast to fire it. You can't just put it in a normal outlet. HPS is the best for flowering though. It also draws considerably more energy. It costs me around $50 a month to run my 1000.

holy shit, thats alot of energy used, lol. Maybe ill just snag a couple more CFL's n be happy with that shit. For a first grow, as long as i yeild something other than 2 one gram nuggs ill be happy. Im in it more for gaining experience than anything else. Ill be moving into a bigger place within the next 4 mos, and ill be upgrading n making a fullblown growroom - this is basically to get the hang of it so i dont go splurgin all my cash on retarded shit that i wont need at all. So yeh, just 2 more of the white light CFLs that i have already n i think ill be sweet for flowering, as long as i keep the ones im gonna replace, remount them on the side walls so that the bottoms of the plants are getting enough light aswell.
