This is my first ever indoor grow.

Setup

I have a 4' long ballast that holds 2, 4' long T8 flouresent bulbs (32 watts each), and 4, 2' long "growing lights" (75 watts a piece) that i got from walmart. I keep a fan blowing at low speed during lighting. I use a vacation timer, which is set to 12/12.

Plants

They've been growing for about 4 months. I switched the lighting to 12/12 about a month ago.

Thanks! I just gave one of the plants to my growing friend who has HPS lights in his closet to see how good one of them will do under HPS. I'm hoping it'll flower like crazy!

Just got an HPS light and set it all up. I'm super stoked, can't wait to see how they grow under this light. I figured the flouros would still help the plant in stem (height) growth. Should i continue using my flouros as well?

Thanks!

Just got two more HPS lights and took out my flouros completely because there was no more room. I hung the lights about a foot or more from the top of the plants.. Will that be ok? And even though I have a clone in the same room, will it stay alive and healthy even if the lights are on 12/12 with 3 HPS lights at 70w a piece?

Thanks!!!

if the clone is not ready to flower, you should keep it in a separate room. you can keep the old flouros over that one.

if it is ready to flower tho, it shouldnt be a problem

4 MONTHS!?!?!?! and your just getting an hps now? your plants should fucking take off, but i assume that you are late into flowering now so most of the growth is already done. I dont see any buds though so thats good for you (depending on how you look at it). 4 months? you should be kicking back and smoking some dank bud right now.

If by some chance you still have it under veg, clone the shit out of that plant. It would be the smartest move in your life.

i agree 4 months is a pretty long time. anyway you should def. clone that thing like a dozen times. Looks like it grew ok without hps tho
