My First Grow, 4 plants under 400W hps light with lst

This is my first grow. I am growing 4 low stress trained clones. These clones are at one week of flowering. Romulan(back left), Granddaddy PurplexAK-47(back right), Dream Queen(front right), and Purple Kush. The puprle kush almost died but is back to life now.

yea, I have found that the HPS is going to save me some time and money. Since I dont have to worry about my neighbors being suspicious of the weird colored light, I figured I'd go HPS. It should be great for flowering since its producing a lot of red light.

Need to line that box with some mylar, bro. I assume the lights are just up there for show, amirite?

How old are they? whatisthis, why would he have his 400w light scource which is growing his plants up the for show?

It has been one month since I planted them. 2 week of veg n 2 weeks of flowering so far.

Ive kept them tied down but havent made any more changes. Im just going to let them grow upwards now. A friend told me that the more lst in flowering may hinder the plant.

Looking good man, you should have veg'd longer, at least a month or so, then flip 'em to 12/12. I have the exact same kinda grow happening, 400watt hps and lst, this is my first lst and hps grow, I've done 3 others with cfl, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better so far. I think we even have the same light, did you get yours off E-bay?

Oh to answer you question, you can lst the hell outta the bitches, I think it makes them grow faster, myself, cause they start reaching for the light again.

I actually scored it at buy.com. Had the purple k not been so badly injured, it would be huge. I lost about 5 nodes, but the romulan was getting too big so I had to cut veg short n start flowering so I wont run out of room. They are lookin much better now tho. I'll upload new pics tonight.
