My first grow...advice pls!

Hello all! I'm a rookie to growing so your input and tips would really help. My husband found 2 plants on a job site. I don't know how old the plants are. The bottom leaves are kinda wilted and yellow. Here's a link to the pic of them;

We got rid of one since I found out it was a male. I also transplanted the female last night to a larger pot with miracle grow potting mix (which I now found out prob. wasn't the best idea.) I keep a flourescent light on it for about 16 hrs a day and water 2-3 times a week. Not sure if this is the most accurate method during this stage. Anyways here is a pic of the female now after the transplant yesterday;

your links don't work. that said, you are going to need more light and to learn about ventilation, humidity, fertilizers, etc for growing inside. read thru the faq and stickies in each forum and then you'll have some specific questions that people on the site can help you with. happy growing

toss it and start over. read online, maybe buy a book to read on ganja growing. and youll have a fun rewarding new hobby. cool? peace. or on second thought keep it for the expierience while you start fresh. 12 on 12 of on the lighting to keep it in bloom.

12/12 wont go to well with a flourescent. I would do 18/6 try and keep it alive until they plant tomatoes where you live then put outside. Good Luck
