My first Grow!! Also a question about leaves!

I been a big fan of this page and learned a lot. This is my first post.... I'm big into Bonsai Trees and I figured I use my knowledge of that and try this out. since I live where it gets cold during the winter I need some wheres to bring my topical trees indoors when winter hits. So I have a spare room that has everything you need. High Tech Grow lights, intake and exhaust, humidifiers, etc.... I don't smoke but my girlfriend does, so for fun I planted a seed and it took. It grew and grew in that indoor grow room fine. It got to the point when it was getting to big and I was going to toss it. My girlfriend begged to keep it so I did. I figured I better start doing some research. Because the only reason I'm keeping it and taking a risk is if I can make it bud. That's also when I started to give a fuck and treated it like gold. Went threw the 12/12 and this is what I came up with for my first Grow!!! (Mind you I grew indoors and harvested this back in February) what you think. (First couple pictures)



My 2nd question is...... I took a cutting from the one I harvested and it's growing great!! I'm about to 12/12 this soon as well, but why only 3 leaves when it's mother had 5??? I thought they were post to be exact from the mother? Last couple pictures are from today.


Mind you guys this is my first Grow so don't be to harsh! Ha ha ha

^^^ the photos above I tried to put in order the best I could threw it's progression. These are the photos of the cutting that grew fantastic. See how the leaves are 3? The mother had 5 any idea?

These three leaves you have shown are called ducksfoot sometimes relates to stress also can be found on a revegged plant you have flowered or taking a cutting from a flowering plant

We all started somewhere bro , you grew and got a harvest .... Congrats mate whatever the amount I bet it put a smile on your girls face ( and that undoubted sense of accomplishment )

First couple pics just looks like a flowering cannabis plant, I guess the small buds could be from insufficient lighting coupled with too much nitrogen and/or possibly not letting them go long enough. At least you got a clone.

Cannabis can indicate its health by the blade count on fan leaves. With indica dom's, 3 blades is a stressed/young plant (normal for clones), 5 is normal & 9+ is a happy plant.

Blade counts can also be strain dependent , 7 is a usual for any heavy indica leaning can be up to 11 on Sativa's try lowering lights or upping the wattage , give your clone lots of drainage in soil and look at your temps , flowering cannabis needs very little N so look at your mix also , you in organics or using chemical nutrient blends?

Yeah I think my problem was like I said I didn't take it serious at first. Not until my girlfriend said let's keep it. So it got no ferts at all during the the Veg faze untilma out 3 weeks until flowering. Crazy I know lol. But when I did it showed me the love. Also someone wrote something about bud size.... yeah I do feel the lighting wasn't good enough. But I'm just glad I grew something so nice looking my first time, no seeds, and after curing people were stoned ha ha. I tried my best to harvest it when tricombs were right. Little amber and mostly cloudy.

Also the picture of the clone with 3 leaves I went and tried my first shot at lollipopping. Figured I give it a try. Heard good things. This is just a experiment, I still have 2 more clones from the mother plant which are doing well. So if this doesn't do well try and try again lol. Also what's your guys opinoin on the wait time from lollipop to Flower? Thanks for all the input

Give her at least a week to recover from the upskirt lol
