My first grow box thoughts / comments

Well everyone after a couple weeks of trial and error and many hours of research i have finally completed my first grow box everything other than fan/bulb/power surge is all custom, im extremely excited for this box because i think its deffinetly gunna grow some killer buds, anyways heres pics from start to finish hope you enjoy and i welcome all comments/critisism as this is all a learning process hope you enjoy and hope i can inspire others to do the same...
all the framework... 2 passive intake holes i used i cut up a old wife beater taped just the top so the air comes in and when its off it falls back into place and covers the hole thinking about switching to black though fan setup 12v DC adapter with 80mm sleave bearing pc fanbattery powered thermometer/hygrometercustom wire cover to cover inside of the fanall into 1 cord very clean looking with option for second cord for another power stripand my most favorite part of this box is the custom built aluminum hood for my CFL's i really think this thing will overall help out, and i have never seen a box this small with a non interfering light hood its very small but does a fantastic joband i know its not light proof but thats what it looks like from the outside i hope you all enjoyed and happy growing!

well to be honest nothing right now i got some shit goin on that im not quite sure if i can start anything in there right now its more like a hobby im actually contemplating really taking this serious and am looking to start a business building custom boxes my next project is going to be the infamous pc grow box.. but all together this box cost me about $125 which for everything it has i think is a really good price 1 grow i could easily make my money's worth ya know.. but anyways thanks for the comment

I think your going to need more than two cfl's. your getting maybe 3,500 lumens give or take and 58 watts of power. buds will be very airy. a grow tent that is 2x2x5 with mylar interior is 150$ .....

I totally agree about the lights, and you are going to need to be able to adjust the hieght of your lights. Also I'd recommend active intake over passive any day.

LxWxH the box is 1.5x1.5x2 and its 5cubic feet as for the lights those are special order lights that i got there 55watts each which = 110 actual watts each bulb is equivelant to i believe 220 incadescent, the lumen output for them is approx 8000-9000 so i think i can easily grow 1 plant in there for flower though i havn't ordered the lights i think im going to bump it up to 150watts during flower to get the extra umph ya know?, but i like the input keep it coming thanks everyone, oh and as for the active intake i deffinetly will be doing that i cut holes before i realized how many holes i would need so its a little late to go back now thats why i went with the passive intake and believe it or not my temps stay about 70-75 with 24% humidity so i think its very plausable to grow inside there thanks
