Okay So I did a bit of research In my area and was told that The Ocean Forrest potting soil was the best because all you have to do is water the plants and never worry about Nutes and the soil is perfectly balanced PH which was roughly 6.5 when I started. Im also using Eight 150w CFL's 4 are soft white and 4 are daylight, I wanted to do a little experiment of my own since I was told one was better then the other so I mixed the lights up to see and so far they love them both. At first I wanted to learn as much as possible about growing, I spent hours on research and talking to old seasoned Growers. I started with 11 Babys 8 Sativa's 3 indicas in The Ocean Forrest Medium, Just because I thought it would be easier to start learning the ropes. This picture was Roughly 3-4 weeks in veg growth, Left is the Indica and the right is the Sativa, I was Noticing that the leaves started turning yellow on the edges, So I flushed the roots out on them all and transferred them into bigger pots. This is from about 2 weeks ago, They are much bigger now and I just stuck them into 12/12 The Indicas have stayed about 12" Which im guessing is fully grown, The Sativas on the other hand have seen some pretty ridiculous growth since I've started the new light cycle. Now The guy told me at the hydro store then using the Ocean Forrest Medium That I would "Never have to give them nutes, just water them" I didn't wanna do that knowing cannabis is a very hungry plant. So I bought Sensi vegetive growth Part A and B As well as Sensi Bloom A and B. During there entire Vegetive growth I used nutes once a week and slowly had them adjust to it so I wouldnt have nutrient burn on the leaves. I now have them in the Flowering stage of growth and I just started using the bloom nutes once a week and will slowly work them into it, Heres what they look like as of now So out of the 11 I started with Only 10 Remain, First week into 12/12 A male popped up but I got rid of him. I also took one of the Sativas a week into 12/12 and sprayed it down with colloidal silver so I could create feminized seeds, it does appear that the seed pods are forming on it and it has a tent of its own. I will take more pictures and keep you posted! My next grow will definetly be a Bubbleponic system. Advice and Criticism Is much Appreciated!
