So yeah I've still got alot of work to do, and more money to add to it for lighting, more cooling, duct fan and a few more things, I'm currently only flowering 10 of them, and I have only been flowering them for 20 days, going to go 40-50 longest I can go, it's various strains, I'm also vegging about 30 or so strains, I plan to have at least 5-6 1000 watt lights, but I will be doing it different then its setup now I will be getting rid of the hood, but I won't be adding all this right away it will be over the next 2 months as I buy more things.

I took the pictures today, mind I have a cell phone camera so the pictures might not be the best it's only 5MP.

Some of the flowering ones are way more bud then others, some seemed like they took 2 weeks to start flowering a lot, while the others have huge think buds mainly one bud itself 3-4 of them will be.. I'm only using Jack the ripper nutrients for veg/flowering nothing else, they are in 5 gallon buckets and they all have drain holes to prevent dry roots.

I'm using 400 watt MH dome lights for vegging x 4, and 1 1000 watt hps for flowering, would it benefit any to use a 400 MH to help flower like put them on the sides where the 1000 watt isn't getting, or is it not good for flowering?

For all you people talking shit in my other threads, stay out of this one please, and thanks.. any tips would be much appreciated as this is my first grow, I learned from reading online mainly and getting tips here and there.

Bag bullshitters kid. Not worth your time. Nice job. Any additional lighting above or below the canopy, if it is a useable wave length at that stage of plant growth, helps. I run shop light fixtures T5 with one daylight and one plant light (specs are on the cartons at Lowes folks) in each. Placed vertically! Side branch bud yield is far more than without sidelights.

Only thing I recommend is huge containers. BS to those who say 'that container is too big for the little plant". I grew guerrilla outdoors (do still) and that is one huge container. Sweet Jesus. Grow room space is the ONLY consideration regarding container size. I use 2 22-gallon tubs - 1 drilled like hell for drainage and then placed in the other with stuff to keep it supported. They nest without support but figure it out when it gets heavy!

I use 1/3 Mountain Magic Mulch (tree bark mulch $4.99 for 40 pounds), 1/3 FF OF and 1/3 Wally world substrate with mycorrizhae already added. Next grow 1/3 mulch and the rest Wally soil and I'll do all the nutrients. Already have 2 planted like this and they are booming.

No apologies needed for your pics. They are usable as is.

pay little to no attention to those who dump on your grow..

this RIU is here for us to help and for us to get help.. those who are not doing that are wasting their time and others..

In agreement with Hotrod..
My last years largest plant was in a 25 gal container... the others were in less then 5 gals
GARDEN.jpg*taken about 7-10 days before harvest*

this year I went big.. nothing smaller then say 10 gals.. and as big as 35 gals

Also I've read that the MH bulbs r best used in last 2 weeks of flower as it boosts resin production. Not to say that MH can't be used right through flower many people do

Great tips and thanks, So what do you yield off a plant that is in a 22-25 gallon bucket, I also noticed 5 gallons seems like alot to others I noticed it to be very small for the plant and it could grow it much larger ones.. I'm going to use a 25 gallon bucket I got laying around and see if I notice any difference, I want to try all sorts of methods/ways and experiment alot lots of trial and errors I guess, I just moved about 7 more into the flowering room so around 17 total(24 now), I for sure need more lighting so hopefully I can get one within the next week or two.

added 8 more into flowering 8-10-12

damn by reading what u wrote on the lights im sure ur electric company is gonna love u the next few months , $$$$
But over all nice grow and i stay stick with ur main idea of MH first then HPS , and I have to say i never read anything on the MH light making the resin better , maybe its just a saying .

Yeah with all the 5 lights and 2 a/c units it only made my bill go up about $120, each 1000 watt will be 80-120$ more in summer due to higher costs. I've never heard of the MH helping resin but you learn new things too so I want to check into it, just added 8 new ones to the flowering room picture above

Well yesterday I ran into a problem my 1000 watt hps bulb blew and lost about a hour of light, but I replaced it with 1000 watt mh until I can get a replacement in a few days.. I never thought about that happening always good to have an extra or two. Do you think it would affect any of the growing? I know MH isn't the best but it's better then total darkness for a few days.

So here is some pictures from my digital camera, only bad thing is the HPS light kills most of the picture as you can only see orange.

I added 9 more into flowering 5 days ago, so some don't have any buds on them yet, and 1 elephant bud I moved in there 2 days ago which is in a 18 gallon bucket

I also noticed some of my dirt I got from someone is almost like ashy what causes that, and some of it hardens up like a rock, and the other kind is more fluffy, what I'm getting at is what is better for it, harder, softer, seems you would want the plant to be more tight in there but then again not too tight..
