my first grow indoors skunk#1

well this is my first grow inside, i have a 4' (L) 3(w) 9'(H) closet in the basement that i have split so i have a small room below for storage and clone room. I also have made a box for three mom's to live in. I will also be cloning for a little outdoor garden.

so i started 3 skunk #1 100% germination and have a bunch more strains to use but im going to use these 3 to dial in the room with. tried to start a few others but i think they are old seeds they never germinated.

so slow start but here some pics I'm going on a trip next week so will update most of it when i return my bro is going to watch them and my house so hope he dosn't mess anything up to much. but i will check here for your help and advice.


Lights for veg are 6 CFLs
2- 200w
4 75w

I have a 600 hps for flower.

vents are a 400cfm built in to a home made filter pulls strong and after the veg with cfl are over i will switch this over to vent the hps light.
and a top vent for heat just a every day bathroom vent fan 180 cfm

during veg its high 70's low 80's but flower i will put an ac in the wall so i can control the temp better as in Hawaii it can get hot fast.


Humidity is between 60-80%

Ok so just got back from my trip to the east coast. I dont know about everyone but when i was there i have never seen the price so high for some good bud. my little brother said it was 400-500 for a oz of some decent GDP or kush. I got some decent BC stuff for under 300 but it wasn't all that great.

on the plant end of things there doing ok some mild yellowing i think from heat or not the right PH water my buddy wasnt the best at watching them i think he didnt water for a few days and then gave them water that had a high ph.he didnt use the test i gave him and if he did he didnt know how to lower it. but now i have put them in a bigger pot and fedd them there first meal of some fox farm. I also added another vent to keep the air flowing and the temps down i am having trouble with heat it has been high 80's here the last few days and its killing me.


Q- will putting my plants out side for a few hours a day during 11am-4pm do any thing to harm them?

Q- how do most deal with the heat im trying to not us a a/c as it would be a little weird haven one in my basement sticking out of my room.

Q- does anyone know when i can put a plant out in hawaii to start to flower i know there is 2 growing seasons but when are they or will it flower if i put it out and keep it out there anytime most days are 12 sun 12 night with very little change i think.

so here are a few pics and an update.

things have got better since i have been home.

my friend didnt PH the water in my res so it was high and i think it had nute block or burn. you can see the burn spot in the pic below. leaves have got brighter and new growth is back and everything looks good to me. let me know what you guys think

i had a few Questions but i think im going to post a diffrent thread but look above and see if you can help.

looking for some help from the hawaii guys would be great.

so here is an update-

all things have been great lots of new growth and all issues have seem to go away. i have been using a small amount of fox farm grow big and some liquid kelp for nutes.

i started 6 more seeds 2 days ago with 100% germination.

2 L-3 old school strain from the 80's nice thick buds high yeld i have had these for ever i am now just going through my seed bank clearing out the old stuff to make room for some new.

4- puna bud seeds i got just the other day. the bag was nice had a great smell and super high. when my friend gave it to me i was like WTF then he said he got me this because he wanted me to grow outside with them. one joint did the job for me so why not it was some good bud and already use to the seasons.


here are a few pics from the small room i have going for veg. the 3 big ones are the skunk #1 and all the little ones are the new seed.

Here is some more pics with my new room down below. things are good with the 3 skunk i just started to flower 3 days ago and 1 is showing female the other 2 haven't shown yet. lets hope more girls!!!!

The 6 other seeds i started are great all reel nice.It's time to transplant so they can get going. the old school ones are doing great they are thick and bushy.

I do have a small case of burn i think I didn't clean my water tank enough. what do most use to clean so there are no nutes and things left behind i used clean water and then let it dry in the sun before adding new water.
