My first grow- Northern Lights and Amnesia

Just received my seeds in the mail that I ordered from seedsupreme.com. If anyone is wondering the order was placed on 5/29, the order shipped 5/31 and I received them today on 6/8 to Cali. Wife and I decided to order 3 northern light auto fem and 3 amnesia fem seeds. I have started the germination process and hopefully in 48 hours I can start with my t12 daylight shop light. Once the plants get bigger I will transition to a metal halide bulb. I will be sure to update with pictures! Wish me luck!

There is no luck involved! Educate yourself and you will have beautiful results!

Quick update at 44 hours from placing seeds into wet paper towel I have 2 amnesia and 2 northern lights showing tap root so I will be planting those little gals tonight when i get off work. I also received two clones from a buddy of mine so i will be incorporating a pineapple express and a strawberry kush into my first grow! Heres a few pics of the seedlings and then a pic of the 2 clones I brought home yesterday.

After 56 hours all 6 seeds had popped and it was time to plant them. Planted all 6 seeds into jiffy organic seed starter mix and cups. Temps inside the dome are running 74-79 degrees and a humidity level of 53-59. It's almost been 24 hours since planting the seeds should have some sprouts in a few days!

Alright we've got some week 1 action going on. As of today all 6 plants have come up and are growing towards the light. I'm currently running a t12 shop light with 2 48" daylight deluxe bulbs. I watered the strawberry and pineapple 2 days ago with water only. I watered the 3 NL and 3 amnesia today with a dropper and placed a few drops per plant. I also lined these 6 plants up in a row to help with stretching as amnesia #3 was doing. NL #3 currently has its seed stuck to its leaf and seems to have trouble uncurling. Is this something I should worry about? Any input is appreciated!

Ran into a few issues over the weekend. Tried setting up my 1000w mh light for my 2 clones but it launched up my grow cloest to 94 degrees! I think it sent my seedlings into shock which caused 3 of the 6 to die. I still have 3 seedlings left 1 looks really good then the other 2 not so much. Im not sure if i wasnt feeding them enough water or what? I revereted my light situation back to normal within about 4 hours of hooking up the hPS. Ive attatched a few pics of how the girls are holding up. Any input would be appreciated. Their last watering was 20 ml on 6/20!

Damn one month later and I have 2 beauties looking strong and only 2 seeds surviving. Pretty sure I didnt give them enough water. Heres some updates pics. Also swapped out that heat producing machine for a viparspectra 900w led light from Amazon. Seems to be doing the trick. Any input is appreciated! Thanks for reading!

Looking good!!! You may want to think about doing some training with those beautiful girls to open them up a bit and increase your yeild.

Thanks! Ah I was so scared to LST or top as this is my very first grow! I did however decide to build a homemade scrog setup made out of PVC. Going to build it tonight and will post some pics when I get it finished. I'm going to Make it 2' tall by 3' wide by 2' deep. Hopefully it comes out like my drawing ha

You should eventually take $99 and buy a ViparSpectra from Amazon. Mine's seriously doing better than my BlackStars. I use the 450 ($149).

I'm running a 900w viparspectra now and it's been doing great! I am about to order a 2nd one though and debating which to get to keep some baby clones busy on a 18/12 cycle for about a month.

Looks good my friend! That will definitely help out with your yield. And as far as the lights distance, around 18 - 20 inches from the canopy.

Heres an update on my two seedlings northern lights and amnesia! A little over a month since being planted. Both gals are looking healthy and showing growth everyday. Ive also added 4 clones to the collection to be on 18/12 opposite of pineapple and strawberry.

Havent updated in a while. All girls are very healthy! Pineapple and Strawberry are in Day 4 of flower. Amnesia and NL are looking healthy. All 4 clones I added into my grow are also doing well and will be transplanted into 3 gal pots and ff soil tomorrow after work. Ive also purchased a 24x48x60 grow tent to my grow room for my 4 clones and NL and Amnesia. I also ordered an additional 900w Viparspectra LED light which is going in the tent with my 6 girls which gives pineapple and strawberry an entire closet to go nuts in. Heres some pics. Please feel free to comment! I also topped NL today by pinching the top node off. Experimenting a bit.

After getting a text from my brother that my tent was 97 degrees today (it was 108 today in the valley) and no one was home all day so my nest thermostat stayed off the entire day. Well I decided to slide my tent under my ac vent and connect some ducting to the top of my tent. Im currently sitting at 86 degrees with the led light on. I took a pic for judgement

Havent posted in a few days. Heres an update of Pineapple and Strawberry which are currently in Day 12 of Flower under a 900w viparspectra. The 6 girls also have a 900w viparspectra led. I also attached a 14 day comparison of my 2 seeds (1 amnesia and 1 NL) that actually survived of the 6 seeds i originally started in this journal. I also attatched a picture of each clone i picked up earlier in july and are on week 2 of veg which are Blue Dream, Super Blue Cookies, Euphoria Cookies, and Sour Dubb. Finally got the temps under control now that i have 4 fans attatched to the grow tent. I will be ordering another grow tent to run 6 more clones in around august 8th and 2 fem seeds that i got for free which are bubblegum that I started germination on today. I will be running 4 T12 daylight deluxe bulbs and some 100w CFLs in that tent so I have 8 plants on a 30 day rotation. Feel free to comment! Thanks

Weekly update! Alrighty so all 4 clones along with amnesia and northern lights are poppin off. Also after close inspection I realized Northern Lights started budding....i went back to the site i ordered the seeds from and sure enough i ordered an auto flower lol. Well im gunna keep her in the tent with the 4 clones and amnesia on a 18/6 cycle after googling around what light cycle an auto flower should be on. If anyone thinks I should rotate her to my 12/12 cycle closet grow let me know! Just feeding them fox farm trio nutrients every other feeding and slightly below recommendation on the chart. I also received my 2nd tent which is going to be my clone tent so i can keep 8 plants on rotation every 30 days. Both tents are 24x48x60 one is Milliard paid $89 amazon prime received in 2 days and the other is a yaheetech paid $55 amazon non prime and received in 2 days. If anyone is wondering about the quality difference of $34 its worth it to save your money and go with the yaheetech. Only difference in quality is the zippers. Picking up 8 new clones and flavors tomorrow and will start those under 4 T12 daylight deluxe bulbs for my next rotation! Stawberry and Pineapple are trucking alone at week 2 of flower.
