I had a thread before, but I didn't have it listed that I'd be posting pictures. To visit my previous thread follow the link below:

So I've decided to start my own grow attempt. I'm trying to do it an au naturale sort of way. I've grown many a veggie and herb at home, so why not try something new?

I'm attempting an indoor grow w/ a single plant. I've got multiple pots to move them into if one pot gets to big.

I have an organic fertilizer that I used (only a little bit) and I rarely ever use a lamp. I have one, on days its not so sunny (since I'm keeping it in a very well lit area), with natural rain water that I collect in some buckets outside.

I figure this is about as close to nature would get it... but tips and hints along the way are graciously appreciated.

And of course, I'll be posting pictures as things progress in the spot below:

Here are some of my germinated seedlings

Here's the one I've decided to use

The sprout!!

More Sprout!

Also, please keep in mind that all this happened over the span of 5 days. It went from germination to this, in 5 days. For me, that seems like a really fast pace.. so hopefully I'm doing something right.

Does anyone know how long I should expect to be waiting until I'm able to determine whether or not my plant is a boy/girl?

stretched, droopy, it's sick... :\ just look at it. it's hanging it's head.
I looked at it when I came home, and it's not really drooping like that anymore. I am using a light fan on it, to strengthen the stock and it seems to be working.

I'm thinking of packing on a little more dirt, since the stem seems to be so long.

Also, keep in mind my camera isn't that great, but the pics do the job.

yeah, more soil and get the plant closer to the light when it's not outside... good to hear it isn't drooping any more. :D

Actually, the stock is pretty decent, I think... as we were talking I put a little more soil on it, and put it next to the fan. It doesn't move when it's on air, and from what I've heard the air strengthens the stock..

...Is that right?

Thanks for all your input by the way.

you have to be careful with how much breeze you give the stems when they are that small...too much breeze will dry them out.

Thanks for the gem! I don't put it on air to to often, maybe for 5-10 minutes up to 3 times a day, for now. Other than that I keep it next to an open window. But I check the soil multiple times a day to make sure it's moist enough.

So the stem is upright now, and the little leaves in the middle have gotten a little bigger. Hopefully it's female, and it will grow big and strong.

Please, if there are any other tips and tricks ya'll would like to drop please do so.

So, I'm having a bit of a problem. I woke up this morning to find my plant at 3 inches tall already, and it's all stalk, except for the little sprout right at the top. Is this normal, or should I ad more dirt, or maybe move it to another pot?

I would move the lights closer or get more light. Don't up root unless it gets worse. You want them in smaller pots for the seedling stage.
