my first grow!questions and pics :)

hey all well this is my first grow got lucky found a seed in the bud i was smoking and i decided hey let give it a try i know the basics to growing and im not sure if its a female or not. well it's name is fluffy lol and its been growing for about month well i wanna continue to grow some plants and experiment but idk where to get seeds and aint beat for drama with the popo from what i read up customs actually pursue people who buy em can anyone tell me how good these sites are? i live on the east coast and my friend whos been growing for yrs and told me it will be nearly impossible to get it through ... well anyways what you guys think of the plant ? any advice/info would be great

most people here probably buy seeds online - there seldom seem to be problems and no stories of anyone busted. the worst that i've seen happen is that customs confiscates the package.

as for your plant it is very stretched out due to not enough light or lights too far away from the plant. more light is always better and you want the light as close to the plant as you can get without burning

well since i had only one plant i thought 26w= 100 watt cfl would be fine but ill upgrade to something more powerful thanks you think u have an idea of the sex or should i just wait it out ?

three of those lights would be about right. you want to keep them within a couple of inches of the plant. you won't be able to tell sex until 3 weeks or so after you start a 12/12 lighting schedule

you might wat to top that plant so it will get bushier and taller not just taller

the plant looks healthy other than the stretching. You should be using about four or five of those lights if you want a half decent yield and Nugs that are not Fluffy. haha funny your plants name is Fluffy. Those lights do not put off much heat so you should have them about 2 inches away from the foliage. My first started out like this also, everyones did. Stay on this site, ask questions( try to find your answer first ) and you will learn loads about these plants. topping would also be a good idea. Good luck

ok i dont know much about topping ive read into cloning but ive never heard of toping can someone tell me ? any vids on this ? also one thing i hear people talkin about is something about cutting some leaves off so it concentrates more on top of the plant or something like that once again thanks
