Thanks alot dude!
sounds great man, definitely do the molasses, ive yet to try it, but ive heard great things.
I've heard some bad things too though. I'm still throwing it around in my head. One day I'm all for it, and the next I'm not sure anymore. Haha. That's been a constant theme for this grow. We'll see what happens. Thanks for stopping by!

Hey there, I've been lurking for awhile, but your journal has spurred me to make my first comment. First of all, nice grow! I love the rubbermaid idea, and I think I may use it myself. Secondly, what soil/nutrients did you use?

Dude. Smegma? That fucking HILARIOUS!!!!! Anyways. hah. Glad you finally commented man. I can always use more input on things. Thanks for the compliment on the rubbermaids. I got the idea from a thread by RajinCajun420. I made my own little modifications though. The soil I'm using is Expert Gardner Potting Soil. It has worked sensationally. During veg I used Alaska Fish Emulsion and Superthrive. For flowering I'm using Bloom Booster. All of which have never burned my plant, and as far as I can see have helped alot. Anyways. Glad you finally joined the RIU community. Thanks for stopping by!

Anybody that has some experience using molasses that could let me know what you think about it, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advanced!

Watered the girls today. They're looking good at this point. One of the branches is starting to get too heavy to stay up, so I'll have to figure out a way to keep it supported. I still haven't got much feedback on molasses. Anyone have some input for me?

Yeah, I've read different measurements on all different threads. I think I just need to figure out what my plant wants. It's different with every plant, I'm sure. I'll probably use a teaspoon for the first time through and see what happens.

Hey Bud, another question? How is the smell in the room now that youre flowering? Youre not using any filters or anything are you?

Hey SS. I agree with you one hundred percent! I've started a tomato grow and a cucumber grow since starting my mary grow. Good luck with the peanuts. That's actually a great idea, I go through bags of them every week. Anyways, i'll have some new pictures up sooner than later. Thanks for the comment.

Hey Smegma - Thanks for stopping. They smell is just barely becoming a little noticeable. It's not that strong or pungent, but I can see in the next couple weeks I'll need some sort of filter.
Looking good man, i have a very similar grow. Hope it keeps going well for you.
Thanks alot man! I'll stop by and check your thread out soon.

I misplaced my camera cord, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the update up tonight. I have the new pictures taken, I just have no way of uploading them at the moment. I'll try to get them up tonight though. Take it easy.

Hello to everyone here at RIU. I apologize for the delay, but like I said before, I had lost my camera cord which made updating impossible. But, I've found it, so here is the update.

I decided to start both plants on a round of watering with molasses only, just to test it out, and see if the plants would take well to it. So far, it seems to be working out great, although it's hard to notice and major differences. As long as the plant dont react badly to it, I'll be using molasses for the end of flowering.

As far as smell goes, the plants are starting to put off quite a pungent aroma, which I love, but it doesnt work well for a stealth grow, so I'll be creating some sort of filter for the smell in the near future.

Now, for the plants..

SOUR DIESEL - Pictures 1-3
The Sour Diesel plant is looking absolutely amazing. All of the bud sites are filling out insanely and it's so iced out. The majority of the pungent, skunky smell i mentioned earlier comes from this one. It is well ahead of the my other plant, which is purely because of genetics. Anyways, I cant wait to see it start to swell up so I can chop it dowwwwn. Haha.

THAI CHRON DRO - Pictures 4-6
My Thai plant is also doing really well. Although, it is pretty far behind on developing, I think it's because it's a heavy sativa plant, so it's going to take longer. Other than being a little smaller, it is just as good looking as the SD, and if I flower it long enough, should produce the same amount of bud, if not more. I'm not seeing nearly as many trichs on it, but like I said, it's been behind in the process all along, from day one. I have no worries. Just anxious.

If anyone has comments or feedback or advice or anything, please share it. Thanks for stopping by in advanced. :blsmoke:
