My first grow, Sage n sour from clones

This is my first post on here. I am somewhat familiar with hydroponics, as I have grown tomatoes with aero and hydro. This is my first attempt at growing my own medical cannabis, so yes I am a newb  . I figured I should post this so people can help me out; maybe even learn from my mistakes. I will try to update this Journal at least every other day to keep a good record of what I did right, and what I did wrong. Help is appreciated, and questions are welcome. I don’t intend on doing any kind of plant training because I do not understand how to do it. This is an indoor bubble bucket grow with a grow tent inside a 2 bed room apartment in Michigan. Here is the journal of what I have done so far. pics will come when I get a new sim card for my phone lol.

I received 4 well rooted clones from aeroponics, the strain is Sage n sour (a mix of S.A.G.E. and sour Desel) . I put each one in a bubble bucket with a layer of hydroton, a layer or coco shread, and another layer of hydroton. I put 2.5 gallons of water with 3 tbs per gallon, I am using Fox Farm’s Grow Big. stuck them under 4 t12 floro lights. My 1000 watt MH is not ready to be set up. I have them in a 4x8 grow tent.

No progress. I set up my 1000 watt MH is up as well as my vent system. I put in a 400 cfm connected to a very large carbine filter blowing air out, and put them on 18/6 light cycles. Plants are 18 inches away from the light.

Very good results from 2 of my plants, the other 2 look like they’re leaf are burning and very little growth, but still there is some growth. I will let it ride it out and see what happens. I have taken 2 cuttings from my mandarin cheese and 3 from my Romulan. I am using root riot, and root riot cloning gel. I stuck them in a dome, cut the tips of the fan leafs, put a cheap grow light from Wally world on top of the dome

Great results from the 2 plants that were growing, still nothing from the other 2. Burning is occurring on the other 2 and little to no growth. I do see spot burning on all plants. I took out 1 liter of water from all plants and poured in fresh water from the top back into the buckets to try to flush the plants, and raised the light about a foot. I am thinking that there may be too much heat, or light going to the plants or there may have been too much nutrients. The tallest one has roots in the bubble bucket, no roots protruding from the others. The clones are standing up and looking good.

No change in the young plants that arrnt growing. Nutrient burn is on the plants most likely but im having a hard time figuring out what the problem is for the younger 2 are. Reading through the forums of plant problems sugest a multitude of things, ranging from boron deficiency, to manganese deficiency, to nutrience burn. No growth has appeared. The other 2 are doing very well and continue to grow without problems. Clones are looking well, a little more than one week and I will transplant them into a custom made l.e.d. pc grow box I made.

I came home from work and the vent had fallen off the 1000 watt MH. the room temp was 119 and the water temp was 98..... I also noticed my ph tester wasn't working when i went to test the water after it being so hot it still read 5.9. I bought a new one and found it at 7.6. I have replaced the water, nutes, and measured the ph at 5.5. the heat got me thinking maybe the water is constantly to warm. I have vented and cooled the room and redone the duct work and everything is now good temp wise. I'm wondering about the clones if I should still only be giving it water and no nuts yet? help from anyone? also if the water is too warm i have put botteled water in the frezer. If I put a new one in every 12 hours will that be enough to keep the water cooled? anyone know if this will work? the girls look pretty rough, but im going to see if I can bounce them back. if I cant keep the water temp cool enough in the grow tent i might only be able to do soil in the tent. I could really use some input at this point.

everything is good in the grow tent now. ph is stable at 6.0, room temp 77, watemp is staying below room temp. heat burn still seems to be occurring but im thinking the plants are rebounding.

Damn....looking at the roots, it looks like all but one of the plants are experiencing root rot. and im not sure if the girls are gonna live...Im thinking i might scrap the project and start over and try again.
