My First Grow Set up, suggestions welcome

So im guessing soil? How big is your grow area, 3gallon pot might be overkill with cfls, you dont want those plants getting to big.

4x2 feet in my closet, i have vertically 5 feet to work with. i can knock out the main shelf, but id rather not. perhaps il get 1 gallon buckets. what about the odor will it be an issue?

if you use the carbon filter you listed above it should help with the smell . 1 gallon buckets will work if you flower at the right time ,if you grow them too tall then go 12/12 you will need larger containers for the root system.i have plants that have been vegging for @ 30-35 days in 2 liter pop bottles . i just put them at 18/6, in @ 1-1/2 weeks i will go 12/12 .just before i go 12/12 i will transplant them to @ 2 gallon container ,that should be enough room to bud them fully without them becoming rootbound.hope that helps, gl w your grow
