Here are some pics so far how things are going. I am going into about 6 weeks here soon! They are in 1 gallon pots with a mixture of happy frog/ocean forest/perlite. 3/2/1 parts mixed. Just started using 1g of megacrop to feed them every other day. the two in the back are about 12" tall and the smaller one is about 10"

So my new light finally just arrived and my 5 gallon pots i transplanted them and began setting up my new light. this is the light i bought:

it came with an adapter that says for 240v? i am not sure if i need that, but either way, i installed the bulb and set it up and this light gives off insane amounts of heat compared to my other LED light i have. i closed my tent with both of them running and 10 minutes later my tent was 90 degrees. So what is the best thing i can buy to lower the temp in my tent that isnt insanely priced? also, what is the best way to hang the lights. this is how i have them set up. are the all the plants getting light from both of the lights? or are the plants directly underneath only receiving that light? i was gonna transfer them over to flower in a few days after they recover from the transplant but with that amount of heat im gonna have to wait until whatever i order arrives in the mail. any recommendations would be appreciated!

Much better choice than a cheap amazon led. Should serve you well.
You need an exhaust fan and some ducting at a minimum. When you get to flower you are going to need to hook up a carbon filter, else its gunna stink. With the amount of room you have in there i would veg them out for at least another few weeks if not longer

Opening all your top vents and duct holes should help temp wise till you get something going

yeah someone on here recommended that light and said i should have them both side by side as they should both be able to hit all the plants. is this true? it almost seems as though they are only hitting the plants underneath them lol. the smell im not really worried about as of now, its just this heat that will kill my plants. an exhaust fan is the best option? i see you could buy a mini AC standing unit. are those pretty much the only two main options?

ideally if i could stay between the 100-150 range id be super happy. any links would be appreciated as well

what about compared to this? they are essentially the same just the AC infinity you can actually set your temps and humidity correct? and this one has a carbon filter and comes with the ducts
They aren’t the same at all. The iPower fans are loud and the bearings fail on them. Same goes for the Vivosun fans. I have a Vivosun fan and the only think stoping me from buying a Cloudline is that mine hasn’t become noisy enough to push me to...I won’t be surprised if mine gets noisy by the end of this summer though.

well i already have a really noisy vornado that i got at costco in my tent that pushes air heavily its super strong. the reviews are quite good on amazon for the ipower fan so thank you for the heads up lol

You don’t want “super strong” airflow inside the tent. Most of the cheap grow equipment in Amazon has great reviews. Most of them are fake.

still waiting on my ac infinity to arrive before I can use my stronger light since it overheats my tent. it was supposed to be here a week ago tomorrow and the plan was to run it another week in veg with the new strong light before switching to flower from this weak LED. but the plant is getting quite bushy now as you see in the pics. you think its worth it to still run it another week with the new light when the fan comes in or just switch it to flower.

i have a 4x4x8 so i do have quite a bit space. i keep on tying them down outwards so they are only a little over 1ft tall at this point. theyve been in veg for 2 months at the end of this month

Some of them look like they were just tied down for some LST. Personally I'd wait for the new light if you have that much room, veg them out for a week or two under the new light to confirm they stay healthy then flip them to 12/12.

So my fan and carbon filter have finally arrived and I hooked them up. When I put the fan on high I have an issue with the tent ballooning which I read happens to alot of people. I opened up some of the vents and it seemed to have stopped for the most part and is only partially pushing outwards now. The fan seems to be helping so far, before I was in the 90s in temp and now im staying at a solid 79. Am i going to run into issues when flowering with it that hot still? I posted some photos as well. dont mind the electrical stuff, I just moved it all to set everything up so I will clean it up when I have the time. Also, I am going to be moving to flower in a week time, when I start flower, should i take off the ties i have on them currently to train them? or keep them on throughout flower

If your tent is ballooning out make sure your fan isn't backwards. If opening vents lessens the balloon effect then air is being pulled into the tent and not exhausted.

I just looked at pictures of my AC Infinity and yours is definitely backwards. Flip it around and your tent sides will suck in instead of balloon out.
