My First Grow!

8-10g hoping for half an O though. The bag seed sprouted today and I am going to start LST'ing the other one tonight after I give a good watering.

8g would be more than i got off my first plant . Lsting is fun Youll love it. I think it helps you become more connected with the plant. . Im high. If only i could smoke with my plants.

It does make you more connected. Maybe you love them more cause they put out more bud?

Napa and highlife do you guys have any estimates on what I'll harvest? The buds aren't really going to grow much anymore.

sounds about right. More bud is better thats for sure.

damn dude, you could beat somebody with those clubs. I have no clue tho, i'm bad at eyeballing weight. Good things i'm friends with my dealer and they let me pick out my bud.

Tonight I am going to drown the oldest plant in a good amount of water then a few hours before I harvest(3-4 days) I am going to feed it filtered orange juice to attempt to give it an orange juice taste

I'm in my first grow also.. I'm in the 7th week of flower. Don't have big buds. I was using 250watt light house LED. I didn't have enough light so i added a 400watt in the 5th week. but my buds are small dense and sticky White Widow and Berm.Kush... Just wondering if I keep in flower another week or two will the buds grow bigger since it has enough light now????? and i can mange the heat now since its cooling off...
been around 90deg. day time and 75 lights out. now 80 day 70 night in room... room size 3 1/2' x 3 1/2'

Damn, the fast bud is ready to be tied down I will be doing it tomorrow (too stoned to get up)
I gave my eldest plant a giant flood watering... The water overfilled the catcher and basically pissed me off but it'll dry up fast.
The newest sprout (was underground in pictures I posted) is definitely a sativa dominant plant, it has the tiniest leaves but is already taller then the fast bud (in 1 day) so I will be tying the sativa down when I tie the fast bud down. Also, by "tie down" I mean use a part of a hanger to push the stem down.

High was gone and I wasn't asleep so I gave it ago! I pinned the both of them down (the sativa was about twice as long as morning!) It needed to be restrained! In the process I cut one of the start leaves on the fast bud in half 0_o but it was just one of those starters that fall off soon anyway.
Question: The sativa was about 2-3 inches in 1 day out of the soil! What the fuck 0_o

Make sure to water before you lst. It helps the plant be more flexible I think i read wait 2 hours or something. If the plant is small it dose't really matter IMO.

The fast bud recovered well and is now pointing back up, the fucking sativa decided to recover fine but grow another inch and a half over night... This thing is now like 4 inches long and has little tiny leaves... I may yank the sativa right out of the ground... This much stretch already.....

No NO.. Dont yank it .. It will stop growing vertically and start producing leaves. Mine always look stretched the first week. Sativa's are a hand full but you'll get a hand full of bud more like a bag full

Hahahha, I sure hope so! 5 gallons and LST/topping should make a monster! =)

Does anyone know if planting in party cups until they show female sex will effect the over-all size?

No. If you were to leave them in there it would .. Once they get transplanted their size will readjust. if you transplant before flower it will take longer to show signs of sex.

Okay, because I just started germinating 4 more bag seed. I'm not going to push them into flower until they are all of age. How long would you say is the youngest to put them into flower to show sex? 2-3 weeks?

You can do 2 weeks of veg and then flower. With sativa i find 12/12 from the start works fine for indoor. Mine show signs of sex 20-30 days.

I still got 2 fast bud in flower so I didn't really want to switch to 12-12 yet.
