My first grow

Hey guys I've finally started my first grow. I have 4 23w 5000k cfl's and 4 20w 2700k cfl's. For grow medium I'm using MG Organic Choice. I wish I could afford FF products but I can't. I am at week 1 mark today. I made the mistake of using too small of containers and wrong soil at first. I've transplanted twice :( so I think it's not as far along as it should be. Leaf tips are a little brown because I accidentally grabbed the wrong water that didn't have the chorine evaporates yet so I think its a little
Chorine burn. The first 2 days I only had 32w of cfl. From days 3-6 I had 96w and just got the rest of the lights today. I think it's about 175w worth of cfl. I also am just growing bagseed for
My first grow and I had a friend who got arrested for ordering seeds online so I'm very hesitant to do that. But the bagseed was out of a good batch of mids.

This is a pic of my plant at 1 week. I know it's a little small but I hope it picks up soon! Any comments or suggestions welcome! No trolls please. I'll get better pics ASAP.

I plan on it in 2 weeks. That's also when I'll be building my flowering box. We're you able to view the pictures?

I thought 5000k would be good for vegging and home depot was out of 6500k today or I would have got those. Would it be better to just use the 4 5000k instead of adding the 4 2700's? For
Vegging I mean?

i personally use a mix of 6500k 2700k lights during veg. but you need more blue light 6500k raange. that's what makes them grow.

Hmm. I thought 5000k was almost as good as 6500k. But that's why I'm a newb! I'll be picking up more lights soon then. Thanks!

And how behind is it for being 1 week? It's a much healthier green color already since I've got the better medium and lights. Should it have finished the second set of leaves yet?

Hi, if you don't mind my asking, how did your friend get busted ordering seeds? Growing bagseed first is good practice. I started out with bagseed and got lucky, had 3 good strains. good luck

He got his seeds In the mail and planted them. About 3 weeks into his grow the cops
Showed up at his house and said they knew he order cannabis seeds online and searched his house and found his plants. Luckily they did an illegal search without a warrant so he got off the hook.

Yep. Incredibly lucky. He's always really paranoid and stuff now though. It really scared him. He always is looking out his windows and shit and won't smoke anywhere but his house.

First time I ever got high I had to drive home and talk to my parents. It was awful! But i don't live with my parents anymore. Just put in some eye drops and act like your busy looking at something on your cell phone. That's how I always play it off when I'm really baked. But usually people don't notice anyway except other smokers, who don't care anyway. I was also paranoid for awhile after a cop took a bong from my house. But I also got lucky and he smashed it instead of turning me in :)

lol i use to do the same thing pretending to be busy. And yeah dude i hope for you too that it turns into a lovely lady. But if not it was a free seed lol so there is always next time

Thanks man! I've been reading for awhile but i still think I started too soon. I should have build a flowering room before I started. But I'm still excited. Thanks all!
