My First Harvest ~ Kandy Kush & Chocolate Rain

So, my first harvest is in. My yield really sucked, 11.6 grams dried from my Kandy Kush, plus about 4 grams being smoked uncured and the 3 Chocolate Rains Yielded me 25.2 grams being cured plus another 5 in my stash box, but the pot is really good! I learned alot, so I plan to do way better next time around! I've already ordered a 400 Watt HPS for flowering, bought a ph meter (instead of drops), picked up an EC meter and am totally revamping my grow room.

now your growing and if your growing your learning, just like the rest of us. even the most advanced grower is learning the next best thing to do for our plants. you should have good results under the 400watt if you can keep your room cool enough

Anytime you get any kind of yield off your first grow is a plus, good work! That's how everyone learns what works, and most importantly what doesn't work.

My closet is in the basement. With the CFLs, I need to run a space heater 24/7. Even in the summer it's 10 degrees colder in the basement, so I'm hoping that if I hook the exhaust fan up to the light, it will do the trick. I'll also add a fan or two when it gets hot. My Hubby finally ran my separate electricity, so I am in the final stages of setting up my separate veg area. I am hoping to harvest 3-4 plants every 8-10 weeks. Also, I am going to be starting 4 BCN Diesel Automatics in my veg area. As soon as my HPS get here and is installed, I'll move them to Flowering, still at 20/4, and start my 3 Sweet Seeds Wild Roses in the veg area. They'll be almost ready to move into Flower when I harvest the Autos.

Your Kandy Kush looks almost identical to an outdoor guerrilla grow I had in San Luis Obispo two years ago. I planted a 10" tall seedling along a stream bed and left it for 3 months. A storm came through and knocked it down. Good start on your experience though.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! It's always good to learn from your own mistakes! I am still psyched to be smoking pot that I grew myself. I've been smoking for 20 years and while it's not the best pot I've ever smoked, it is still pretty damn good! Got stoned off half a thin joint.
