My First Heads

oh and your soils. I am currently using that MG moisture control, and regretting it. The MG ferts IMO are okay, maybe not the best but not really a problem if you add them right. But the soil has that damn time-released shit which is screwing me right now. I had never really listened to the warnings about it, but I should have. It's not impossible to grow in it, but it will cause you too much stress. Other than that, looking great! GJ.

thanks for the tips i was about to make a different room and start my big one in flowering but think i will just wait now. They are so small and i just got like everything to build a hydro drip setup. Makes me wanna start the hydro but definatly dont wanna waist these girls. Im just goin to keep it put away until these are smokin. The LST branch already 8 inches out from the stem, and she only 10 inches tall alltogether.

congrats, it's one of the most rewarding thing when you see those first set of hairs. Are they actually hairs (white) or very thin green growths at the nodes? I've heard that the green growths appear on both male and female plants however, I've only gotten to flowering with 2 plants ever and they were both female so I don't know for sure (both had those green growths prior to flower).

no they are the white hairs. the green hairs show up very early. Didnt even see the hairs come out. Havent looked for them in a while and went down and they were all the way out.thought i posted the pics.

oh yeah, that's a mama. Lookin good. Mine did the same, all I had the green hairs for a while, then I forced flower (I know, I know, it's a sin) and one day (about 4 days later) they were just there. Good luck with the rest (in regards to gender)

Sorry I'm late with this, but what's with the multiple sticks in your earlier pics? It looks like you were lst'ing from the pot, so I'm not sure about the thin sticks. (I've been having problems and was wondering if you were using them as support).

Also, when did you start to lst?

I was using the thin sticks to hold back leaves so LST branches could get more lgihts. Im not using anymore it is growing how i want it now. I am using normal string to hold back LST branches and works great. Just gotta make sure you move them around so they dont grow into branches. I stared lst at 18 days but could of started way earlier but my plant was huge very early for a reason i dont know of. I wasnt adding anything to the plant at first, i was just getting used to growing. I have plants that are about 5 inches tall now and was goin to start LST soon. Dont know how early you should start but as long as its fexible enough to tye down it should be good. Look around about it though dont want to kill your plant from my advise. Look in the tutes theres a few on LST.

Girls are doin better than ever with LST. Small girls got some yellow leaves on the bottom. Went out last night and got whole bunch more supplies including black tarp stuff to make sure no light comes in cause im goin to start flowering tonight. Thinkin of ordering 400w HPS within a few weeks or sooner. Still gettin the last few things i would need for a aero grow together and when im done with the girls the real expiermenting will begin.

This was a little experiment i did a little while ago. Forgot how old they exactly are but i grew one in organic soil and one in miracle grow, the famous kind that suppose to feed (or kill) your plants for 3 months. The MG sprouted way faster and thought it was goin to beat the organic but the the organic kind of grew bigger and now looks way healthier. It has nice long branches and plenty of breathing room, while the MG cam out a little fatter but it leaves are always droopy. All in all i think that the organic plant came out lookin very very healthy.

Just got mylar up last week. Been waitin to throw the males away and was hopin there was at least 1 male if not 2.

Well all four girls are female. I dont even know what to do now. Dont really got room for 4 girls right now and dont want to throw any.

Now i got to decide whos goin. I hate this part. Appriciate comments and opinions.
