My first grow was in soil and for the most part grown outside..pretty nice plant.
Now for a real challenge, I am attempting a grow with water. Ihave been reading for months trying to figure out how to do this shit right.
This is my grow space. 3.5ftx3.5ftx7ft
This is inside my grow space.
This is the 400w HPS light I am using and the fan with duct that circulates the air in and out.
Now, I am growing one plant in soil just for the hell of it. This one has actually shown the best growth.
I also have one small bucket with a bunch of little plants growing in some sort of crushed up medium, not soil. These are my friends plants and I am not too worried about these. My friend wanted to put a couple plants in there and get them started with that light. I also have three hydro buckets going. Each bucket has a long airstone and each is connected to a pump. The seeds were planted in the rockwool on Dec.17 and transplanted into the hydro buckets this past monday. This makes the plants about 15 days today(pictures taken yesterday). I started the seeds in rockwool and transplanted the rockwool into the buckets with hydroton clay pellets. I have been keeping the ph at 5.5-5.8. I haven't added any nutrients, when would yall suggest adding them? Should the clay rocks be at a higher level? Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
