so im completely new at this indoor thing . growing up we would just walk to the country and drop some seeds in the ground , and come back in the fall and harvest. boy things have changed . i guess ill start with my equipment .


Big Kahuna 6" air cooled hood/reflector. 27"x33"
Digital Greenhouse 1000W HPS&MH ballast
Growbright 6" inline fan / 435 cfm /
16" charcoal activated filter .
1K MH growbright bulb /95K lumen
1K HPS growbright bulb /165K lumen
a whole lot of hope


this is all packed in to a 9x9 area covered with panda plastic .
i have everything on a 18/6 right now , and am using Flora Nova Grow formula at half strength every 5 to 7 days . depending on how long it takes for them to wick the water out of the soil.
i started all these from seed about a month ago , and just potted on to 1gal bags.
not to sure what they are , the bag of seeds i got from the brother in law was a " plethora of goodness" he said . and i can only trust his judgment .
like i said im new to this and would any advice i can get .

nice pics buddy. yer rooms looking tight.

not possible to have the hood too cool afaik.
but if your room temps are too low, you could raise them by turning the exhaust fan down. (you'd need to buy a speed controller for the fan).

does the speed control unit have to be hard wired in to the fan , or is it a satellite unit at the outlet ?
