MY FIRST JOURNAL: G13 Pineapple Express, CH9 Aroma and CH9 Humboldt (400w) MOTHERS!

I placed my first order with Attitude on Oct 24th and got my seeds today to the US(midwest)Oct 31st! Super fast shipping only 6 working days! I ordered 5 TGA Querkle, 5 G13 Pineapple express and got 2 free CH9 seeds Aroma and Humboldt with a shirt.

I plan on growing four the first run 2 P.Exp, Aroma and Humboldt. I will be vegging each into a mother to make clones and I will only flower the clones. I veg with cfl and linear florescent lights and flower with a 400w HPS. For food I will be using General Hydroponics 3 part(gro, bloom and micro) along with cal-mag and super-thrive.

I am already germinating the 4 seeds mentioned and I'm getting ready to enjoy a big bowl of Cinderella 99 to pass the time. I will update pretty often with pics. This is my first journal and my first time growing actual strains so this should be good.

Everything has shown taproot and is planted but the CH9 Humboldt. It came with a slightly cracked shell but I thought it would make it... guess not. It was a freebie but I still contacted Attitude through email.

EDIT: They replied and said they will replace it next order but it germinated today so hopefully I wont need it.

yeah i want to see the aroma im tossing up between my free aroma and my free original amnesia for my next grow. currently leaning towards the amsesia but u may be able to sway me

Well the Aroma molded in the ground and died, the Pineapple Express both sprouted and the Humboldt is breaking soil now. I was looking forward to the aroma too...

...I'm pretty excited about the Humboldt as the freebie in my order, but I ordered OG Kush, Querkle, and White Berry as the main dish. I'll grow the Aroma as soon as my seeds get here, they've been dispatched...and I'll post on this very thread to keep you updated ... if your fine with that.

...I got my order but they didn't send me the same freebies as the order listed....I got ch9, "White Shark 33," ch9, "Bubba Kush 33", and ch9, "Jack 33"...they've all sprouted and are a couple inches now.....all my Querkles, OG Kushs, White Berrys, and Power Skunks all sprouted also.......100% germ again this order!

What's up guys! Here's a quick update for the week. 20 days in!!!!

I transplanted both Pineapple Express into 5 gallon(+/-) buckets to become mothers. the are developing nicely and both look very similar. The Humboldt is starting to look normal but is coming along very slow.

One of the PExp has some kind of deficiency/nute burn, the edges of the leaves are yellowing and starting to curl up. I think that it just needs a little cal-mag but I wanted to make sure before I made it worse. I have never had a deficiency so early... Here are some pics, please lmk what you think so I can give her what she needs ASAP.



On a side note I'm looking into grow tents (approx 2'x3'x5') anyone recommend a good place to get one? I hope I can catch some black Friday sales for nutes/bulbs/tent or whatever else!

im subbed have been for a while. i would say its a deficiency but im only a rookie. i have experienced burn and mine didnt look like that. burn starts on the very tips leaves go papery/crisp starting on the bottom leaves and working up. yours looks like it is on most leaves and starting around the whole edge.

and dont worry about not having many subs lol my thread had about 3 pages where i was all by myself without any comments things are picking up now that the girls are a little older though.

Sub'd. I grew and crossed a cross of PE called pineapple daisy. My new strain sprouted same day your PE's did!

I noticed my Pineapple Daisy liked more Nitrogen. Not seeing any deficiency in the new ones yet.

I was leaning towards deficiency since mine have only had mild nutes one time. Glad to hear your sub'd! You got anything goin now?

I plan on crossing a nice Querkle male with PExp and Humb. What did you cross with, are you a soil guy too? Got a thread goin yet?

Right, sorry got side tracked, but i'm here now.

Plants are generally looking pretty good man, they'll get stronger and more resilient real soon so keep it up. As to your deficiency problem, my guess is a nitrogen def. I've rarely heard of many people using cal-mag in veg, doesn't mean you can't, just means that N deficiencies are a lot more common so i'd roll with that. If the yellowing is starting in the tips then its most likely N def.

One way to quickly fix this is to foilar feed. I've only recently started doing this and i'll never grow again without doing so. It's useful in maintaining over all plant health but especially useful when you've got a lockout or deficiency of some sort as it gets the right elements to your plant quickly, by-passing your root system. I'd definitely invest in a good foilar feed, and use it regularly through veg, you'll be glad you did i'm sure.

Other than that you're looking good. Be warned though a built in ballast will add to any heat problems you may or may not encounter.

I think I'm just going to stick with the lucas formula and fix according how they act. I have never foliar fed and I don't really like the idea of it. N def. sounds better that Mg def. but I fed for both so it should be getting better.

I am trying to get that ballast out of there but I will have to re-do the wiring. I saw a mfg date of 1988 on that baby, she was built to last!
