Awesome I'm sure. flaming hot ladies, ninja shit you know?Nice plants lu! how is the life out there in thiland?
They will bud SLOWER under 11 hours of light .Having the lights on at night will help with the heat that's how I roll. Do 13 hours off 11 hours on. it will make them bud faster and save power. plus it gives you a little wiggle room for last minute work. It takes 12 hours to build up the hormones that force flowering so by giving an extra hour of dark you will insure the process.
Lifes great chillNice plants lu! how is the life out there in thiland?
Are you not able to grow outside where you are? All that beautiful Thai sunshine. My missus is Thai and we built a house on some land her parents gave us, right in the sticks it is. When I'm able to spend more time there, ill fence off a bit of the yard and plant. Surrounded by family and old family friends out there, police non existent. Check out LED units by a company called 'Grow Northern'. They've got Dutch passion putting their name to their lights, in 3 weeks their new line comes out. I'm going 100% LED when I can get my hands on the new tech.If there is anything you guys want to c please tell me and i will photograph clearer for you... Im a noob with LEDs but figuring them out slowly so much easier with HPS when i was in UK but now in Thailand heat is insane but seems to be ok so far...
In answer to your concerns, sometimes new growth is very vibrant yellow but I would say heat stress is a factor in your case for sure. Do you have big ridges between the veins on the leaves?if the edges of the leaves curl upwards it is a sign of a salt build up too which can go hand in hand with heat stress. It could also have a sulfur deficiency. Best thing to do, flush your grow medium and then give it a complete fertiliser at half strength to begin with and check the Ph of your medium. Can you get A/C fitted to help regulate temp?well heres an update of veg and flower room.. i would say 2-3weeks in flower room and 4-5weeks vegging plants includin the autos...
Heres my lastest pics of my modified setup and my plants... In the veg room i added two seedlings which have sprouted which i forgot to take photos... So the flowering room has the 600w HPS and the 2 85w CFLs.. As for the VEG its the ones under the LEDs. I also had a stupid mistake i found i put gravel in bottom of pots which remained too damp and cause rootballing because pots werent full of soil only noticed because of deforming new growth so have transplanted the 2 it was the white widow and bubblelicious.. I am also experimenting trying the main line technique and different LST techniques, and also just installed the scrog net today a bit late but its ok.. My babies are flowering slow im worried the firth batch are all sativa dominant strains which mean long flowering which could effect me because i have been vegging 4weeks into 5th week and dont want to veg for more then 8weeks except for mainlining experiments which i will move to flowering whenever they look like they have enough growth i have no idea how long its gona take though but we will c... i think it actually waste time mainlining not much different to just fimming or topping and spreading the canopy... The pics with longs hairs are the autoflowers >(Northern lights blue)View attachment 3242801 (Dark Devil)>View attachment 3242785 ..
One more question is my flowering room ok is it nute deficiency is that why flowers are yellow or is that normal for new growth they look slight more yellow then usual. > View attachment 3242794View attachment 3242795 View attachment 3242799 could it be heat stress??
mainlining white widow >View attachment 3242792
mainlining Bubblelicious (the tiny one in the middle) > View attachment 3242791
I'm hanging out for those Grow northern units but I'll check that site, I like having as much info as possible. Next time I'm in the land of smiles I'll try and say hello. I know what you mean about the grows over there though. You should go and visit the hill tribes above chaing mai in the north. Considering its a bit touristy in the closer villages there was wild growing weed, farmed datura and opium poppies.thats cool. You should really try the leds i got they are special because they also got a lens on each diode which makes light more penetrable too. Zenmizu.com i think it is... If u ever in thailand hook me up or hit me up... equipment here hard to get and growing is very far and few..
Check your Ph man, if that is all good then after a flush the salt build up should sort itself out. Foliage feeding is something I've tried and always had problems with, they should be getting all they need thru your medium. The odd spray of water is ok but beware of mould and bud rot, specially as it's hot and humid there anyway. The leaves are usually flat but if the area between the leaves veins is raised or rippled then it's an indicator. No cant get AC but i got my lights running at night in flower room and turned off in morning which means its running cool and got a fan blowing right on it up to the exhaust fan... I think the plant definitely has heat stress though but its not horribly bad. What are ridges? I am thinking of flushing but will c cause added nutes by foiliar spray almost daily.. How can i reduce the salt build up?
Im from the north Chiang Mai actually. and i used to live in Chiang Rai too and used to get weed on the mountains from hilltribes and go smoke opium with them... Still places to do such things but harder and harder to find have to go deeper into mountains then before and no tourists at all..I'm hanging out for those Grow northern units but I'll check that site, I like having as much info as possible.
