Lookin good! I like the setup a lot looks like you had some good planning going into this. I have an LA Con girl at 4wks and a day in 12/12 now she is lookin beautiful. Its my girls fav strain.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Yes I did put a ton of planning into this before I started I researched for a good 4 months every night after work. Looks like it is starting to pay off I couldn't be happier with where I am on this first attempt. Im about to take some new pics should have them up in a bit. I've been smoking LA from a buddy's harvest this last week and am really liking it as a daytime smoke, great taste and not too heavy.

It's been a while since I updated so figured I would stop by. Still going well for me I have been working hard at keeping my pH at a steady 5.8 and the girls are responding well. I have put the day 42 into a bucket of pH adjusted water and Floralicious sweetner and anticipate chopping her in 14-21 days. My white widow has really came through in the last few weeks I don't really have anything to compare it to since this is my first grow but it looks damn good to me!

Alan, Great looking setup you have here! I'm in the waitin process for my card right now, can't wait for the check to get cashed so I can start my setup.. I'm going to run DWC also... I was thinkin of constructing a box like yours but combining the flower and veg in one box (obviously separated). Did you just build a frame then put some walls up? I'm planning on only going with 6 plants in flower and 6 in veg.

Thanks man I appreciate it. Good to hear you are running DWC also maybe we can help each other out with advice. As for my box yes I just built a frame out of 2x4 studs and then sheeted it with 7/16 osb board. The dimensions are 8' long 4' wide 5' tall. Wish I had more height but I am restricted on how high I can go so I will just have to adapt my future runs to fit in my area. I have already started LST on a few plant in veg will switch to flower sooner this run. I know those Sage n' Sour will get really tall just like the Sour Cream I am running now so I am really trying to get them under control from the start.

Hell ya man! I'm always down to help a fellow RIUer! I've grown in soil a good amount of times now and just seems to me that people that grow in dwc seem to have way better yields. So we'll see what happens. I just came across a great deal on some grow hardware so i'll be getting that here in about a week! Got a 600 watt hps light i think its sunsystem or something like that.. Got a 6inch vortex inline fan with a canair carbon scrubber. T5 setup for veging. also a bunch of nutes along with an 8 spot clone machine. bunch of inline duct fans. 3 plants that are in veg and 1 in flower. a friend of mine is givin up on the growin game. so i'm gettin all his equipment for a hell of a deal! can't wait!!!! I'll post some pics of my build soon as i start. Might even start a journal so i can get some help and comments from all of you guys!

Sounds like a sweet deal, good luck on your project. You really should start a journal you will have fun with it and learn some along the way too.

Good morning everyone, thought I would stop by while I smoke a bowl before I get started for the day. I will have some new pics up tonight, I am going to finish the transplanting of my clones and also rearrange some things in my grow. Today is day 53 for my LA Confidential and its looking great to me. I am still very inexperienced at this and am having trouble figuring out how much longer this one has. I know we took my friends at day 56 and this is where I got my clones all from that plant, I think I will get some good shots of it at lights out tonight and post them up here if anyone could weigh in on how long they think it has left.

Haha I know what you mean I've started the preparations for my journey. Gonna start building the veg chamber day after Christmas. I have 3 plants i'm getting from a great guy.. One Northern Lights thats about 4-5 weeks in veg already. Blue God thats about 4-5 weeks in also, and then a Hawaiian Gold thats pretty much ready to be put into flower! Gonna take some clones and hopefully get them to root! I've had a big fat ZERO Success rate with cloning and its really starting to get frustrating... Anyway I'll start the journal soon as i start building my box.. Right now gonna take a rip of this Dino-mite chemo that i just got!!

Oh man sounds like some good strains! I have been researching northern lights looking for the right seeds to buy, it's one of my all around favorites. Keep on trying with the cloning I had the same problems at first doing it with rockwool cubes but have since switched to a aeroponic cloner and this thing kicks ass just fill it up with solution and plug it in. Let me know if you start a journal I'll be sure to follow along.

Dude I just realized your LA is only 2 days ahead of mine. Today is day 53 for me and I plan on harvesting this coming Monday. I started flushing last Monday. In the last 2days the buds have def started swelling and are barely starting to get the amber tint. Ill prob take whatever is ready and leave the rest to finish out for another week. I love how this plant has smelled throughout flowering. First thing in the morning it smells exactly like espresso and during the day it has a funky lemony/ pine earth scent to it. Dank all around. About 2 weeks ago I clipped a few small buds at the bottom. Trimmed them and smoked em without drying...obviously didn't burn great but got me pretty damn high and the taste was exceptional for having zero dry, cure, or flush. Just makes me that much more stoked for the finished product.

Cool man I remember you saying you were growing one too didnt know we were that close together though! Your plan sounds similar to mine, I'm going to take mine in thirds to get the most out of it since I am running 600w bulbs on a 4 foot plant light penetration was an issue. I had the same experience with my early sample, very good heady high and I couldn't believe it tasted as good as it did for having no flush, dry, or cure just like you said. Good luck on your harvest, I still haven't decided on a date for sure, when I posted in the harvest and curing section of the forum people said it needed 2 weeks, one person said 3. However I'm not paying $50 an 1/8 for that much longer so its worth it to me to take my first plant a little early. This will save me alot of money, get me some good daytime smoke, and allow me to quit staring at this damn LA all day and start worrying about the remaining 9 plants in my flowering room.
