My First Nirvana Cheese Op

Alright.
The Swiss cheese is a great strain..
Heres a pic of my swiss entering week 6
I couldnt help but notice how my nirvanas swiss cheese looked very similar to big buddha's blue cheese, since the pheno i ended up with has a blue-ish tint..and even some very light purples, on my main cola..

Proof that nirvanas swiss can be grown indoors, and im tired of people saying nirvanas swiss cheese isnt Stable, or Nirvana sucks in general.

everyday when i open my grow tent, it gets frostier each day i check up on it.

Nirvana has the best price for their beans.
and this is proof that; Its not the strain its the grower and the environment you put them in.

I'm happy with my cheese and will try to breed them for extra seeds...:weed::hump:
Nirvana is awesome..i already got some bubblicious ,ak-48's and some freebies nirvana gave me..
For the price...you cant beat it, hand's down.

The plant ended up being almost as tall as me[not counting the pot], and taking up almost all of the space of grow tent.
and i'm 6'2 tall..

Specs:
400watt HPS cool tube
Foxfarm full lineup of products (FFOF,Growbig,Bigbloom,Tigerbloom,Open sesame,Beastieblooms, chaching)
water is always 6.5

This is only week 6...stay tuned :fire:

bump up top........no comments?
Looks good to me. I plan on growing some of this too, just curious how long yo vegged and with what light. Did you only get one pheno or are they all similiar? Any help would be very helpful. You got me so excited.

i vegged for roughly a month and a week.. The pheno ive had so far has a blueish tint to it for some reason...im harvesting the end of this month and i'll show pics soon
the smell of the plant is very skunky and has a sweet smell to it also..i also did some light LST'ing during veg (by light i mean for a week, that's it)

this plant is huge and is taking up most of my grow space..for future references i would veg for 2weeks, then flip to 12/12...

i want to take some clones and plant them in the woods near my house to see how big they'll get, since they grow pretty damn big..

right now its in a 10gal pot and im using FFOF and FFOF nutes...

i also forgot to mention the burnt leafs uptop..this was caused by heat issues since the top cola was almost touching my lamp. This was before i got my cool tube..i trimmed those dead leaves and is looking good so far..i have not seen many reviews or grows on swiss cheese..people should give this strain a go..im very happy with it so far

I dont know yet honestly, i need to buy a scale...the plant took pretty much my whole grow space..just 1 plant
the plant grew x4 when I flipped to 12/12...for future references im going to veg this strain for only 2 weeks..
I want to do a smoke report when its dried and cured...right now the buds have a very skunky smell to them with a cross of lemon zest..

it smells great..I dont know why some guy on this forum said the strain was unstable..it seemed pretty stable to me

cheers

I'm amazed at the size of that for one plant, looks really healthy too. Great job.

I actually seen a strain today for sale in a local headshop called cheese from the Greenhouse Seed Co in NL I wonder if these are similar. Is yours a Skunk-Kush cross also?

swiss cheese is a cross strain of skunk #1 and swiss miss... upon reading on another forum ive heard that the genetics of the nirvana swiss cheese has colombian gold and afghani gold... i'm not really sure if its true or not..But one thing for sure is that it smells very skunky and fruity

I picked one of the nugs to dry and the high was great..especially playing video games or listneing to music.

The plant ended up being more sativa dom than anything..so its not a 1-joint knock out, but rather a uppy heady giggly high..which is great for me
so i can smoke during breaks at my job

cheers mate

Nice plant there...should give you some heavy cola's by the time you are done. I'm glad to hear that someone (you) had some success with Nirvana. Every member in our group had various problems with them. I, myself, purchased 20 beans from them in 4 strains. Out of 20 beans, 11 germinated. Out of those 11 that germed, all but 4 had to be trashed, as they were males. I, and other members with other issues, contacted them on their 100% guarantee...there is not one. Took forever on the shipping and half of everyone in our group suffered over half not germinating. I even purchased Nirvana Growth Soultion products (Propagator Pro, Germination Kits, soil and flower tabs), and used everything according to their instructions. They did'nt have a leg to stand on, but refused to help. Also, it takes their tech support (Weed Portal that you have to join) to get back to you. Our group is done with Nirvana and also many others on this and other sites, according to what I read. But, "yes" Nirvana beans are fairly priced, but fem beans should be fem beans. Other breeders may be a bit more, but most of them give you "free" beans with any order. FYI dude. Good job on your grow! Peace
