im on my first grow too and about 2 weeks off harvest i hope i end up with sum big sticky buds like that , they look niiiiiiiice

Just remember, when you think its time to harvest, ITS TOO EARLY!! I noticed that AFTER I started the flush (that is, straight water no nutes after the 7th week), I noticed the leaves coming out of the buds started to turn yellow and orange and wither, and the buds got CRYSTALIZED like MAD!!! So, if you haven't purchased a jewelers lens yet, I suggest you do, or at least a magnifying glass, and wait until the trichs get cloudy... They will appear, then get big, like little balls on the ends of straight parts, then they will get cloudy, or opaque... They also turn amber and start to wilt, this is too late. I pulled when there were about 30% amber, and the rest white, but I can't remember if they were opaque. Its my first grow, so I didnt learn about that part till after, and I noticed the leaf thing on my own. I imagine its the plant sucking all the good stuff into the buds, or the last of it anyway, because even though the fan leaves are dying, the bud is opening up and looking WET with trichs... It truly is a sight to behold, man, you will be impressed... So just wait, I was impatient as hell to get started on the harvest, and luckily I only pulled a couple days early, so the last of it looks much better than the first bits... I dunno, it all looks good I guess, who am I foolin!!

ive actually been lookin at microscopes last few days coz sum1 else on heresaid the same as u about the tric's goin cloudy and amber and the different stone u will get depending when u harvest, tomoz will be 6 weeks flowering for me,when the tank is low im gonna clean it out and just fill with water(no nutes)to start flushing, cant wait to see all the sparkly goodness start to form haha

by the way its about 6.5 feet now, would have been a lot taller but i bent sum branches over to save cutting thru the ceiling lol
