My First PC Grow(Lowryder x Santa Maria) LR#2

whatsup to everyone on rollitup! this is my first actual grow and have decided to post it up on the forums so to show you guys my buddy =D. any constructive criticism is welcomed!
first of all, i got my seed from demonseeds.com pretty cheap imo, from the joint doctor i have lowryder x santa maria = LR#2. i've decided to start growing since my area seems to be nothing but strains that are always claimed to be something, but kush and very expensive too..

since i've posted a little late on my grow, this is about week 3 from seed. (but the 1-2 weeks i had it on a horrible lighting system w/ very bad circulation) now, i have it in a pcgrow case with 1 intake/1exhaust fan with 3cfls (2 2700k/1 5600k). i have it currently on 20-4 cycle. but considering to change it to 18-6 since i want to budget on the electric bill since i'm not paying for it..*will it make a difference?

right now i water it about every other day it seems to do fine by this watering cycle. one water other day is nutrients. currently i am using general hydroponics nutes and for flowering i'm using Mother of all bloom(MOAB), but this plant is an auto strain so i was wondering when to start using MOAB? *directions say use 1st week of flowering and last 2 weeks before flush/harvest. any tips?

some of you may ask why i'm only doing 1 in a pc grow (my family doesn't know!/for personal smoking)

i think i lst'd too late. when you lst are you SUPPOSED to do it right after the 3rd-5th leaf sets? my first time doing it and i had a horrible circulation and setup first 2 weeks before i got my cfls and everything..

does anyone also know if i keep to 6500k cfls or 2500k when it gets white hairs? or just mix it up?

2700k for flowering but a mix of 6400k/2700k would be pretty good

Oh and you can lst at any stage really but make sure you water the plants about 45 mins before hand

oh alright thanks for the tip! but..before when i lst'd without watering before will this just cause more stress to the plant which causes it to grow slower?

i shouldnt think so the watering part just helps the plant be more flexible so you dont snap any of the branches and as for cutting light down to 18/6 might shock it im not sure tho

since i've started to see a bunch of more hairs now, i'm going to follow the "Mother of all bloom(MOAB)" directions and give it flowering nutes just for this week. (moab) tells me to use it first week of flowering and last 2 weeks before harvest) or flush.. i'll take pictures after the feeding tomorrow or tuesday.

well make sure you dont do the full dose as it could burn the plant i reccomend 1/4 - 1/2

yo nice lil plant you got there. i grew out lr#1 a year ago. good smoke. looking very good dude. ill be watching this grow for sure. let me know if you need any help.

thanks you guys, yeah i was wondering i have my buddy in a food container i got from walmart (i'll check to see how many gallons it holds), but before i use the MOAB nutrients you guys said use 1/4 or even less, but i water my plant by water bottles (tap water/ leave it out a couple of days to let the chlorine go away) how much would of the nutrients would i put in a regular water bottle(bottle is about 8fluid ounces or 240ML). oh and also the moab nutes tell me to put 1-2 teaspoons in a 5 gallon container so that's pretty strong. would really help if anyone has used this flowering nutrient before! thanks guys keep it coming!

i use a gallon of distilled water and mix up a gallon so that way i know its the right strength. then use it as yoou need it. that way you dont have to figure out how much nutes for a bottle of water

week 3-week4 day26 (from seed)




just watered her last night. i'm starting to use "Mother of all Bloom" flowering nutrients for the first week*only of flowering and etc. as it says (others tell me use it the whole flowering, but will taste salty so i'm just going to follow the directions) and then after i'll just use veg nutrients for another 2 weeks.. any suggestions on this? has anyone use mother of all bloom before?

as for flowering the pistils are shooting out a lot now. seems it's slowing down on growth but i can't really tell maybe from too much stress on my first time doing lst?

was just wondering if i want the grow to still be stealth. i'm planning on keeping it in the same container box, but will rootbound effect it's growth?

can you give us a better pic of the pot she is in? at least cover the sides with dict tape to block out light. roots dont like light

you should be fine maybe add more soil
