My first plant

Hi my name is mynox and im growing my first plant and i think its doing pretty good but i want suggestionon what i can do to my plant to help it be a female its at 5wks and want to learn all i can from my older growing brothers and sister oh and its a white widow from nirvana seed bank thank u in advance. The pic thats on here the baby is 4 wks

what kind of setup are you growing it in?

your plant looking good to me! How many nodes does your plant have? I always top mine at 4-5 nodes to make them bush out more.. You should look into that

I know right i look at every chance i get keep looking for the pre flowers

I built my own grow room i tried to do hydroponically it was not working at first and killed about 15 plants cause i didnt have the right lighting so i got some fox farm ocean forest and its under a 400w hid light i got from amazon i need to get a hydrometer and a new ph tester doing it the old school way with the chart and i have not prune or tie down the yet

Plant looks really good, nice and bushy, no stretch. Are you still vegging? if so, how long do you plan to veg for. Sex will be determined already so you just have to hope you are lucky. If still vegging you just need to decide how long you want to wait before switching to 12/12 which is when you will find out sex. Be a bitch to wait too long in veg to find its a male!

Your plant looks nice and healthy. I was wondering if you might take a look at my plant. Its 6 weeks old directly from seed and mine looks nothing like yours can you fill me in on why that is. Your help is appreciated.

There is no way to make your seed/plant a female. The sex is predetermined in the seed. They say you have a 50/50 it is a male/female. I go with feminized beans so that I do not have to waste a bunch of time and resources while the plant is in veg prior to the first sign of sex. I then take clones, which will also be female as well. hope this helps.

Im going to clone for sex and if its a girl this will be my mother plant

I was reading the marijauna horticulture by Jorge Cervantes and it said you can help become female by giving the plant extra nitrogen 14 hours of light instead of 18 and cooler temp and what do you think about the pre flowers i read about that too

since your ocean forrest is pre ph'ed all you will have to do really is ph your water to as close to 6.5 as possible, and try not to over nute it...
my miracle grow plants end up with nute lockouts probably because the damn soil is not ph'ed even though i ph my water almost exact. and im too lazy to test run off, plus when plants are tied down, in more than a couple gallon pots, its just a bitch to test run off... Although i do plan on it, because my one is looking fucking ROUGH like rust leaves to the max lol...

you should be A-ok with the ocean forrest though, im running a batch in that now, and they only have minor imperfections.
