Hey everyone I am looking for some advice.
The room I am using is 14'x14'x8'
Electrician came and wired me a line directly to my house breaker. I had him put in a supply panel in the room with two 40 AMP breakers for the lights, there are 4 220V outlets on each, and a 20 AMP breaker for my eight 110V outlets. Lord, please down let me burn my house down.

I had sticky vinyl look a like tile put on the floor, installed ducking for the two windows, and installed a door seal. I also added weatherstripping which is not completely working right now due to air leaking out of door seal. Too much air coming in to the room I guess.

You can see my really bad attempt at sound treating the door and door frame. I bought some egg shell type sound material off a guy on CL. I paid too much but whatever. I screwed it into the door with drywall screws.
I hung the reflectors, and haven't figured out what to do with the ballast, I really don't want to put more holes in the walls or ceiling. I have had to screw in quite a few holes that I didn't end up using because I am still learning how to build this thing.

Everything is ducted in with 6" insulated ducting. I used Gorilla Tape, which is by far the best ever. They deserve an award at that company.

In the main room, I am planning on using 2 1000w HPS Bulbs. I am running a copy of a Vortex inline fan I bought on eBay for $90 for the air intake. It is much louder than the real Vortex 6" 449 CFM I have hooked up to vent the lights. The Vortex is pulling the air from the two lights and venting out the window. The air intake for it doesn't have a fan on it. I have the fake Vortex fan pulling air in the room for general ventilation.

I hooked up a carbon filter with another Vortex that is a 6" 235 CFM. This is suppossed to pull all the air out of the 12'x12'x8' room. I guess I better buy another Vortex 6" 449 CFM. Maybe use a dimmer switch for the fake Vortex to bring the fan speed down enough to have negative air pressure. I am concerned about the fan maybe burning out or worse even causing a fire with a dimmer on the line.
I hung all this using picture frame wire for the ducting, bungee cords for the fans, those adjustable light hangers I got at the hydro store. I found all the studs and screwed in nice heavy duty hooks.
For the farming area, I went with four 3'x3' trays with the reservoir below. I figure I can use net pots and get 16 plants in each tray that would be 64 total in the main room.

The closet has T-5s on the top for clones and I am going to use a 400w below for vegging. I figure that should be sufficent. I will mask it off later and have to add some fans for airflow.

To start I will have everything in the main room, load up the trays slowly, then build a mothers room vegging. Once I am maxed out with plants then flip the switch and flower once. By this time I hope to have the mothers room producing and I can start rotating things to have a perpetual harvest. That is the plan anyway.
Please help me by answering some questions.
1. What am I doing wrong?
2. Too much power a bad thing?
3. Do you see fire hazards?
4. How can I improve?
Thank you in advance and sorry about the blurry pictures, can only use my iPhone.
