My first ScrOG: T5 PAR vs 1000w HPS

Thanks Vahn. Its been a bumpy ride over the last 13 months but Im fairly certain I finally got it down.

Pics coming later with HPS off, its frostin up real nice. Its definitely indica dom, theyre not stretching as much even with the HPS on. Although I have noticed a huge calyx explosion lately

I picked up a matching set of lamps for free. Hung them up in the tent on either side of the HPS to make sure that they would not obscure any light. I screwed in 2x Repti-Glo 10.0 UV lamps that I had from last grow. I like to use these during mid-late flower. They will turn on 4 hours into the light cycle, then turn off 4 hours after that to better match UV Rays peak exposure from the sun. Im looking to get a little extra CBD/CBN. If it starts making the trichs over ripen too soon then Ill turn them back off for another week or so.

Looks like the UV is makin the fan leaves a little sticky after 2 days of exposure. Excellent.

I noticed that the fan leaves in the back left corner are starting to crinkle. I was worried at first that it was rootbound but I think that when that branch came off when the light came down is what is affecting it. No other plants are showing signs of stress or discoloration.

I decided to flush everything with 10 gallons of water per 3.5gal bucket. The runoff looked pretty nasty the whole time. It got slightly better on the 9th and 10th gallons but not much. Next time I water Ill be feeding them a hefty batch of P and a bit of K. Almost no N.

New pics taken minutes ago:

I made my ventilation setup permanent, rearranged a few electrical connections, and hooked up my T5 PAR 8 Lamp fixture on the other side of the flower tent tonight. I put a platform underneath the light, rearranged the fans, setup the screen, and tested it out. Looks good!

I pulled 3 of the Lemon Cake x Alaskan Thunder Fuck 'seedlings' that have been vegged 6 weeks out of the veg cab along with the 2 clones out of this flowering pheno I have going already. Ill keep training all of the plants under the lights until sex can be determined. Any males will be culled immediately, the females will be arranged properly until another 1000w HPS can be acquired.

New pics.. either showing nitrogen deficiency after final flush from 4 days ago or they are becoming rootbound. Since the leaves arent doing the tiger stripe effect, I would think its just N def. The colas are ROCK solid and has a great fruity aroma. First harvest should be within a week or so.

Harvest is IN! Well, for 3/4 of the plants anyways. The plant in the front left of the tent has a strange pheno and is taking longer than the rest to fully mature. The resin glands are swelling but the trich heads and the hairs arent maturing as fast as the other three. Good thing I kept the cuts of the pheno that made the heaviest colas.

I cut the plants from the base and pulled them back underneath the scrog screen. I then hung the plant upside down in my spare bathroom. I keep the door closed and turn on the ventilation fan. Temps are solid at 71-75F with 60% RH. I pulled all of the light bulbs out of the room to make sure they wont accidently get hit with direct light. Im going for an even dry before dropping them in jars. Once they start getting a little difficult to bend Ill put a couple buds in a jar, put a hygrometer in there, and seal it for 12 hours. If it goes above 70%, still a bit too wet and will air for another 24 hours before trying again.
