My flowers started smelling like bad breath but it looks fine.

One day I opened up the tent and it started to smell a bit like bad breath, so I chopped it and now it's been hanging for 3 days, the bad breath still is there when i touch the bud, but when i squish the bud some more it smells normal and good.

No sign of bud rot, what could the stinky smell be?? bacteria?? is it still safe to smoke?? this is super depressing, it smells like tonsil stones fuck, lucky its only 1 plant thats effected..

For real? The smell it gives off smells like it would give someone bronchitis. Weird that it also did not smell bad untill late late flowering, i was thinking i let it flower too long.

Thanks for the info! Here are pics taken about a month ago, this is the best photo I could find of the 4 plants together, blue line in the photo divides all 4 plants. If you can zoom in and look at the middle front plant, I swear that one smells like blueberry, and the smelly problem plant is located in the middle back.

I end up jarring the buds, the smell is mostly gone now and it looks pretty damn caked

about the wrong strain issue, they may be all the same, just different phenos like mentioned above, i noticed the larf smells like blue berry on both plants..

which breeders blueberry? some can be funky? especially if it's a cross like akbb has a GMO x BB

honestly man if it smells like bad breath when its in the jars i would not smoke it lol but one time i purchased some weed and it tasted and smelled just like garlic and fried onions no bs also another time i purchased some weed and it tasted just like pee(i still think they sold me peed on weed lmfao) i recently had a harvest that molded on me i tried my hardest too keep some bud around from that harvest but at the end of the day i had too throw everything away.
